I initially applied for SNAP benefits on 2/7/22. A caseworker finally reached out to me on 3/18/22 and was very short with me stating that I needed to turn in proof of loss of income. I uploaded and faxed the information in less than 24 hours. I asked while on the phone with her how long will it take once I provided her with the info, she stated to turn it in right away so that she could process it and get my case done. It is now 4/8/22, I have yet to hear anything or receive anything. I have called everyday and sat on the phone two hours at a time before it times out and hangs up on me. I was able to get through to one customer service rep who was extremely nice and took the time to escalate my case via email to Managers, Supervisors and my Caseworker. She told me that they have so many days to resolve escalations, so it should be handled by 4/6/22 because my case has been open too long with no action taken to resolve. Needless to say, at the rate the State of Florida is going and the amount of complaints that I have seen.. its no telling if these people even care or if it will ever get handled. Majority of the complaints stated that their case was closed after so long. I am hoping that doesn't happen to me.

Country of complaint: United States

Desired outcome: That my caseworker would at least call back or work the case or someone works that case. The caseworker does not answer any calls and voicemail is full and never emptied
