Don’t even think to work with David Bates Dbec LLC. The owner is dishonest and the worst person in the world. This man offered me to buy his bar and said that all papers were alright and the price wasn’t so high. I agreed and after we signed the contract, it turned out that the bar was in terrible condition. He lied to me about the state and debts. Be careful.
This guy is unbelievable. I had an agreed upon price for a soda machine. He brags and boasts to me about how bad other businesses are. During the process he ignored emails for almost 2 weeks so I had to call him 3 times to get him to answer the phone. He charged my credit card for 2K more then agreed. I talked to him about the price and he said yeah someone in "sales" screwed up. He said he would correct and get back to me same day (I have a witness that heard the call in my office on speakerphone). 4 days later I had to call again and email again and ask whats up. He then came back and told me the price he charged me was correct. He asked me to allow him to give me his story and I did so. Then I tried to tell mine and he kept interrupting and I nicely asked him to stop and he told me "I don't argue with customers" and would not allow me to talk once he knew I had facts on the price. His web site said $2,800 and change and then when you go to check out the EXACT item from the buy it now link he just changed the price to $3,999.99. Attached is his web site pic. I would HIGHLY suggest not doing business with this guy. I will be putting up a web site warning others.
Hey Mike, if this post isn't removed with in the next hour the same attorney will be filing a law suit against for damages.
