www.wheresgeorge.com / Ads, spam and impossible to stop the subscription

1 258 Harvard St. #333, Brookline, MA, United States Review updated:

I found the website www.wheresgeorge.com couple of weeks ago. I thought that it would be fun and interesting, but the website was full of ads and other spam. I joined it, when I have no idea that it was full of useless stuff. I tried to cancel the subscription, but my attempts were completely useless. People, be aware and check the website before you agree to their subscription and policy. But I highly advise all people not to register there.

I'm sorry you feel this way, but none of this is really true. If you would like to unsubscribe, please go to this page and submit a request: http://www.wheresgeorge.com/contact-us-form.php (Or click 'CONTACT US' from the main menu)

What do you mean "filled with useless stuff"?? Everything on the site has to do with tracking dollar bills.

Thousands of people each day enjoy the site and find Where's George? dollar bills and enter them into the website to track them. The site has to have a few ads to help pay for the site, but I've never put on video ads or popup ads or anything that really gets in your face. Where's George? has far fewer ads than most other websites. Please realize that I'm just one person here running this site and I'm not a big company out to monetize or exploit my users.

Over the last 16 years, I've had over 8 million people register on the site, and you can ask any of them -- I've never, ever sold or distributed the use list to any other organization or company. Registered users have NEVER been sent one SPAM email in 16 years of running this website. People have nothing to worry about registering on the website. If you have any questions, you can use the form above or email me at [protected]@wheresgeorge.com.
