Every time we request a pick up from Skycom Couriers in Dubai, we receive at least 4 to 5 calls from the company asking for our location. This despite the fact that we have a corporate account with them. Despite asking them repeatedly to organise themselves better, they have instead barked back at us with impolite answers to defend their lack of planing and organisation.

On many occasions, their courier lands up on the door and says he has no time to write down the address on the Airway Bill as his duty timings are over (Name: Shibu). Once when asked why he bothers to come for a pick up when his duty time is over, he started arguing and being rude. I personally tried to complain to their Supervisor... who hung up on me. When I tried to call back, I was told she will call me back... and she never did (Name: Mariah).

I tried sending an email to their management. That too went answered and unheeded. Their General Manager (Mr. Basim) never receives or returns calls.

A shipment has been lying on my table for the last 4 days and despite two pick up requests (# 324368 and 323882) made on two consecutive days. The problem is that their couriers keep calling us and asking for location and no one seems to turn up. when we complain about the same, they make us pay for it by not picking up our shipments. So much for their service.

Now we are stick with prepaid courier coupons we cannot use. And Skycom Courier in Dubai company is refusing to refund our coupons and also not picking up our shipments. Despite all efforts to being our predicament to the notice of the management, we have failed.

I therefore use this forum to express my outright disgust with such a badly managed company and use my bad experience with Skycom Courier in Dubai to warn other people to stay away from this ill-managed and totally disorganised courier.

    You are very right and me too is experiencing problems with them. Let me wait for couple of days if it's not get solved, I acknowledge this complaint.

    Their Couriers are very arrogant and rude. Same thing happened to me. By the time I was filling the address, he left the place without informing me.

    Even I had very bad experience with them ... They made me wait almost 3 hours in their office door and no one turned up. So bad they're service here... Anyone know their owner address ?

    After 3 years of posting... Skycom is still the same. IDP australia sent my exam result through this courier that should deliver the documents the next day because it is only a local delivery (from jumeirah to muhaisnah). different people call me everyday with indian accent asking for the same thing... my address which I gave completely to IDP australia. First is they refused to deliver in my work address because they don't cover the area but the area is just within Dubai. They told me that they prefer to deliver in my home address and i yielded because i just want my documents ASAP. And they said they will only deliver 12-2pm and i told them nobody will be in the flat because that is work time. They wanted the customer to adjust for the address and time THAT IS CONVENIENT FOR THEM. Last time I checked, it should be the other way around. So after 5 days. my documents remain undelivered and I have to cancel my embassy interview because I am still waiting for skycom to deliver my documents at the time and place that is CONVENIENT FOR THEM.

    I am going through the same disgusting experience with this unprofessional unorganized company. I have sent an shipment 5th of July containing original documents pertaining to my son's college.. it has not reached yet.
    The reason stated is it's been misplaced.
    Upon calling the Manager ( stephen ) the response was rude.
    I strongly refuse to deal with this courier company ..
