On your complaint board, you have two complaints out there on this breeder. I have to say that I agree with both of them. She is very vague in answering questions & it takes her a long time to get back to you; you have to keep asking her if she got your email. She will not talk to you on the phone. One week before I was to pick my kitten up, she told me that she thought he was to shy to leave. During about a month & a half that I was dealing with her did she ever mention that he was shy. Why spring that on me all of a sudden. She never mentioned that she had any concerns about me or the kitten. Not to mention, I was to drive 7 hours in order to pick him up & then another 7 hours to get home. She doesn't work with you there either as I had wished to pick him up as early as possible so we could get back on the road to home & get there at a decent time. She didn't care about that. She is not good in dealing with people & should not be in this business. She always makes it seem as if it's your fault & not hers. I noticed that also on the other two complaints. My feelings are that no one should purchase a kitten from her. Put her out of business. Seeing there are now three complaints against her, we all can't be wrong.

Within two weeks of receiving the deposit from Jeri Byrne in Wisconsin for a kitten, she emailed me in anger, threatening me with a complaint because I hadn’t sent photos to her. She was right, I hadn’t. The group of kittens were three weeks old and at the time I was working with other adopters. The other adopter’s kittens were almost ready to go to their new homes and I was answering questions and helping them choose their new feline family members. My breeding program is my hobby, a passion, it is not a business. My adopters are important to me, but it is important that my profession, my family and my ragdolls stay balanced. I am not always able to respond to multiple emails from a single adopter immediately. Sometimes it even takes me more than a day to respond. When I am busy I always try and let everyone know that I am not able to respond and I will as soon as I have time. I do get back to them and answer their questions. I also regularly talk to adopters on the phone, which is sometimes why I am not able to respond to emails immediately. Jeri’s complaint is that I was vague and I took a long time to get back to her. I will accept her complaint and own it. Jeri is also right, I did email her and let her know the kitten she chose was shy and my recommendation was that I spend a week working with him to try and help him find some courage before traveling 7 hours to a new home. She became angry and refused and wanted her deposit back. I have sent her (nonrefundable) deposit back. If you are an adopter who gets angry if you do not get a response immediately, I may not be the ragdoll breeder for you. I do my best, and usually respond within a few hours but sometimes that is not possible. If you are someone looking for a breeder who cares about their ragdoll kittens, providing the best possible start to their lives, someone who takes the time to match adopters with their new feline family member, and understand that I am doing my best to provide you with social well adjusted kitten, we will be a good fit. The whole adoption process with Jeri was my mistake. I should have sent her deposit back immediately the first time she emailed and threatened me with a complaint. We both would have been happier.
