SCAM! TIME SHARE!DON'T DO IT! TIME SHARE SCHEME! MANY HIDDEN COSTS!Whenever you encounter pushy rude sales people--the hard sell game where they keep passing you to other hard sell managers, they REFUSED to give me a refund for down payment even though I called within 30 days for refund as I was told I could do by sales rep. When I did call they make it do diff. to CANCEL by PASSING you around, putting you on HOLD, having excuse for every reason you would want to cancel...all being read off a script and for commissions.ANY COMPANY THAT TALKS SO RUDELY TO IT'S CUSTOMERS WILL SOON BE OUT OF BUSINESS, just a matter of time! I was told after talking with Donna, Jackie, Katrina, Lashaundra, Katrina again, and finally Pam.Spent much wasted time to no avail trying to get refund, was told there was no way I was getting a refund, even my lawyer if I got one couldn't do anything about it..What a real nice Company. The only tel. # available is the same customer service sales# [protected]. The original sales # I was contacted on my home phone was [protected] which they said I had "WON" a sweepstakes which I had entered on the website for a free cruise all I had to pay was port charges. After reading up on net, it is a gimmickyes the cruise itself is free but trip to Orlando or Ft.Lauderdale is not free, alot of driving around and sitting 5 hours thru a time share presentation. Besides these thinggs, all the "hidden" fees add up, gas chares for ship are extra and alot of other extra charges they forget to mention. For all the money it adds up you might as well ride on a nice cruise ship and not an old tug boat and skip all the hassel and intimidation and rude customer service reps.

RED FLAGS: pushy, need credit card number right away or the deal is off, no contact info given on website, no compasy address found under internet search..BOGUS! BUYER BEWARE, NOTHING IS FREE..If it sounds too good to be tru it probambly is.

Complete scam. He said that my cruise would depart from Palm Springs, Florida. I told him that I lived quite far from there and that since this was a free cruise then they should pay for a rental car and all gas. They guy then proceeded to ask me if I worked. I replied, "yes". Then he said that I should be able to pay for a rental car and gas. That set me off. These people are complete ###s. Do not go for this scammed cruise. Also, he wanted my credit card number right away to reserve my cruise.

I encountered the rudeness after speaking to Ashley Smith from 1.800.446.1524 and she gave me a 954.567.9353 ext. 4135. She was extremely pushy and was completely misleading. I wish I had recorded the conversation. I decided not to give them my card number because they were so pushy and wouldn't allow me to speak to my husband. The offer came from completing a survey and their site was "buggy" and creating alot of errors. I felt like they were fraudulent and backed out. They managed to get my contact information, expiration date, but that was it! Buyer beware!

I signed up for one of these cruises over the phone, of course never the best idea. However after reading the many negative comments I saw after googling the website, I called back to cancel. After 20 minutes of trying to resale me on the crusie they were gracious enough to cancel my reservation, so they weren't as bad as some post make them out to be.

I got the same phone call. I told the guy to call me back later b/c i'm expecting an important phone call, in which any call is more important than this call. I smell a big fat liar and predict a scam ahead. Remember, nothing is FREE in America, especially in these times.

I got the call today and while my "representative" was speaking I googled the web site that was given "grandcarbbean cl" and the scam alerts were all over the page. I politely listened until the young lady was almost out of breath from reading her very long script then told her I wasn't interested and hung up. People if you actually "win" anything why would you have to pay any money up front. Scam, scam, scam. Save your hard earned money and never give your credit/debit info to anyone who calls you.

Oh I competle Agree this has to be a scam! When someone wants to push you into giving your credit card number over the phone " To Confirm" that you are excepting this "Unbeleivable " Chance in a Life time. All she wanted was 118.00 to apply / rather charge to my Credit Card? I asked for a few days to check this out, but I was told..Oh No, You cant do that. This Promotion could end at anytime, so waiting could mean me losing my chance of going at all. HHmmm? (what's wrong with this pic?) No way, ESP: with the Econamae the way it is today, no way would I waste my money on such Crap! We all are in BIG trouble now in these days we are living, EVEN THEM, sooo they have began there tricking We The People! Dont EVER Let anyone charge you anything over the phone, who are wanting your Credit Card # in just a few min's that you have spoken to that "Stranger?"
Also I spoke with a woman she said was Michel the Chg. for 2 peoplr would be 118.00 which she called a "Poor-man's Tax') Cruise option was open for me to go up to 18 months.
But why then was It such a Hurry for me to confirm, and pay the $118.oo Right Now, No Waiting so I could check them out?
My advise to anyone is to Please Be Carefull, Those Company's are hurting for money just like most of all Companys, they can and will try to Dup you, for your money! Otherwise, they would more that welcome you the time to check out their offer, along with time to talk it over with you wife/ husband, Dont you think? No they are putting the ( Right Now Method) of pressure on you, or lose the chance of a cruse. Please Be Very Very Carefull. The Comment just above mine is exactly what I am talking about.

Any Way God Bless You All, And Maybe One Day, The Real Thing Will Come Our-Way !

I just received a phone call and declined the offer. If I won the trip then why would that one phone call be the only time I would have to pay the port charges. I think they don't want you to do any investigating. Why can't you pay the port charges later ? He wanted to run the card regardless if it was declined or not. If it looks like a scam sounds like a scam and smell likes a scam then my dear it is a SCAM.

I am rather amused at the comments I find here, because people are probably really confused when they see that their is both sides of the facts to this blog. I have yet to go on the cruise so I couldn't tell you if it is fun or not. I can however tell you about the sales experince I had. I was like some of you told that I could get a refund if I changed my mind (that is going) by the rules within my state which is Georgia and the state said something about 72 hours after purchase. I also was told they needed my credit card number right away, after I was informed that I had won a cruise. I was not surprised by this approach because these people have contacted me before. I knew what to expect from the time before. (That is after I knew who was calling). I had previously purchased the extended trip with the cruise just the year before and Had just finished paying my installment payments. I only however paid a 250.00 extra for my trip to Ft. Lauderdale andthen to Orland to Disney world. I am shocked that they charged ya'll 800.00. So I guess I should not be complaining, but what I am complaining about tis the type of room I was told I was to receive, but when I looked at the website that same day 15 minutes later the room was nothing like what I was decribed and I got really mad about that. For one I was told the rooms were rather large compared to other ships and the room is only about 86 square feet. It is really small compared to the trip I had planned to take with Norweign Cruis Lines these rooms are 121 square feet for the smallest inside cabin and 149 for an upgrade which is not bad considering they do have a TV and a refrigerator inside them where you don't alwsays have to leave the room just when you are thursty. There is no TV in these rooms and the beds have metal legs and a school like desk in them . I mean the rooms look like you are riding on a old train of the western days.

I just called them last night & they explained everything to me & my husband. Yes you do have to play 800 dollars for two people and also the 198 for the port fee but we also got a trip to vegas, mexico, and 3 other trips! so for the price we paid i dont think it was a bad deal. and you can also give away any of your vacations. so if you dont want to take them and you think it was to much money sell one to your friends. i thought it was a scam to at first. but when i called they were not mean they were very nice and explained everything multiple times i asked several questions and they were very helpful! i hope we have a good time

I took the cruise and had a great time. Paid $118 in port taxes and $547 for the extended stay package. Hotel was nice. Florida was great and I had a great time with my husband and daughter. Salesperson was a little pushy but so are car salesmen and any other sales person that probably works off commission. All in all I had a great time and saved a couple hundred bucks. My sister called and got the same deal too.

I also was asked to take part of this scam. I wanted the cruise line, which they charged my credit card $118 for port taxes, then they offered their "extended stay" for like $800 more for a few more days and the rental car and what not. Long story short, I opted to not do the extended stay when I was transferred to a supervisor. After declining the package several times, I threatened to not even take the cruise. The "supervisor" advised me he would just push it to the next person so I said forget it and we disconnected. I had better find that he refunded the initial $118 if he won't give me the cruise!

And the comment from "Always" sounds suspiciously like an employee from the company trying to keep good reputation for the company which they don't deserve.

Worked out great for me! Sales people were extremely nice, not pushy at all. Answered ever question I had and didnt push for a credit card. If u come into Florida early they provide 80% off the hotel stay, rental car waiting for you that they have paid for with unlimited mileage/ Hotel stay also provided free breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
If you drive to Florida they do pay the das to get there as well!
There direct number is [protected]. Ext. 4286 for Sterlin Davis ans Ext.4153 for Elisha. Both extrememly nice people who will take whatever amount of time needed for ANY questions you may have :)
