on 16th Sept 2016, in September Hong Kong Jewellery Fair, at Booth No 11Q35 (Asia-World Expo), we had placed an order for various jewellery packing boxes to the above exhibitor and paid an advance of US$ 200. Then, again on their demand on 21st December 2016, we paid additional US$ 1200 advance through our bank to their bank = thus, a total advance of US$ 1400.
After this payment, this company is not replying to our various mail messages, nor they are sending the ordered items to us. They are also not replying as to what they have done with our advance payment.
There are many issues:
1) First of all, we trusted a Chinese company participating in an important trade fair - Hongkong Jewellery Show, and paid them total advance of US$ 1400.
2) We wasted our time in finalizing the order with them, which we could have used with other suppliers in the show
3) We made our planning for one year and it is more than eight months have passed. This Deqi company is not responding and disturbing all our selling jewellery which is delivered to the customers in packing boxes and this planning / procurement cannot be made everyday.
I have ordered boxes & pouches from Deqi Jewelry Packaging Manufacture Co Ltd, the boxes they made very poorly but I have accepted them to somehow get out of this messy relationship with them as their completion time moved from the promised 2-3 weeks to almost 6 months...
Then when it came to the ouches with my design & logo they showed me pictures & i saw they made the print very badly & cheaply, it was crooked & flakey, so I asked for a new batch to be made, they refused & said they have destroyed the faulty pouches with my brand logo *** in fact they have actually sold it to all kinds of fraudsters who have been selling their poor products with my logo pouches on it causing me reputation damage, I had people contacting me from all over the world shooing me my brand name on the packing they were supposed to destroy but unlawfully & illegally sold to another party, they send me pictures & I had to explain that this is my brand name but not my products ... I my wildest dreams I didn't imagine that this fraudulent packaging company can cause such a damage in such a global scale, I am not proceeding to contact the HK Show organisers to have this company bared from exhibiting.
*** Warning, if you care about your brand and image avoid doing anything business with this company, they will brutally infringe on your trade mark causing you reputation damages you can't even imagine due to petty & ugly greed, besides making poor quality packaging (they of course present in their show room & exhibition wonderful examples *** but they then manufacture far worse product - classic bait & switch, don't be tempted).
** Avoid Avoid Avoid, learn from my experience, if you might think how genuine is my review, just don't take the risk, it's not worth it, I am submitting my proof pictures to the show organisers & local authorities but do not wish to disclose my brand name here for obvious reasons.
This has been a nightmare for me, I hope you won't make the same mistakes, I will be checking reviews from now on for every supplier I may consider & I wish I have seen such review before doing business with them, they sold me off & damaged my brand for a petty greed of $200... unbelievable & disgusting disregard to any business dealings & fairness.
HK show management reviewing & will hopefully remove them from their show soon.
