On July 9, 2008 I did place an order for merchandise on the internet via the web site for the amount of $74.95. Shortly thereafter I discovered that I had forgotten to include two items, so I tried to call them at the phone number, [protected] which is listed on the web site as the contact phone number. I left a voice mail which the recording stated would be returned promptly, however, no return phone call was received.

I had received an autoresponder email confirming my order, however, when I also tried emailing regarding this order at the email addresses of jeri AT and sales AT, I never received a response.

I did a reverse lookup of their contact phone number, [protected] and discovered that it is listed to a Richard Gilbert at an unlisted street address in McKinney, TX.

Upon further research I discovered a different phone number listed to Geraldine Gilbert, owner of Dallas Wholesalers at the address listed on the web site and discovered that the phone number was disconnected. This disconnected number is also the phone number listed on the PayPal transaction as the contact number.

Throughout the rest of the day of July 9, 10 and 11, the voice mail box for [protected] was full and I was unable to contact anyone at all regarding this order.

On July 12, my pending transaction for the amount of $74.95 was completed. I have come to the conclusion that they have no intention of ever shipping the merchandise I had ordered.

    Hi, Jamie Garner of Livingston, TX - the person of the complaint. This is Geraldine Gilbert, one of the owners of Dallas Wholesalers...the reason why our company issued you a full refund and we cancelled your order was for merely for the way you have conducted yourself so unprofessionally. For example as in this message board, your emails, and voice mails that were left for our warehouse staff. We do deal with alot of great customers on a daily basis, but we do not return calls from those individuals that choose to conduct themselves so poorly as you have done. You will notice that you have been issued a full refund on your credit card, prior to your order being shipped. We serve our customers in a first come first serve basis, we do not place your order ahead of anyone else we ship our orders Monday thru Friday. Your order was placed on July 9, our billing charged you on July 12 and you placed this complaint on July 16. I don't think UPS would have time to even deliver. But this is the type of level of unprofessionalism I am referring to with your demanding conduct.

    Your refund has been provide to you on your credit card statement. And if you would like to have any discussions in a professional manner with me personally please give me a call directly at 469-742-8947. If we are in the warehouse shipping, please just leave one message - not 15 or 20 within an hour period, as this does put our voicemail in status whereby our other customers cannot leave a message if they need to.

    This company did the same to us...after placing our order We could not get in touch with them as well...after finally getting a lady on the phone said she would look into why our order hasn't shipped, they dropped off the face of the world...I went to our bank and started paperwork to have this transaction reversed and the banker could not contact them as well...after about 10 days our products arrived and we finally got the lady back on the phone and she denied ever talking to us...

    I am facing the same issue as the others had previously...No merchandise received and no merchant that replies back to any of my "professional" messages...

    I am being very patience ...I have placed my order on November 22nd, 2008. After a week later, the status of the order changed to " shipped". As of today (Nov 8th.2008), there is no merchandise that are received...No tracking number available either...

    Dallas Wholesaler owner ; please do you call yourself " professional business owner" ??? I do not think so..Please go to LA Fashion District and see how other "professional" wholesalers conduct their business...

    No email responds
    No voice calls
    No merchandise
    No tracking number

    As a small business owner, I am not suprised at all..At least I do know that I am going to shop again from them.

    Dallas Wholesalers issue ;
    Mistyped. The order was place on October 22nd. Today is Nov 10th. There is no merchandise received.. I have already filed a complaint with BBB...Lets see what can they do?

    Bought merchandise from them several times last year and had no problems. Was very satisified.
    This year was a totally different story . Places an order in August 22. By Oct 1st (I gave them 4 weeks )
    I called emailed, etc. finally Nov 10th I contacted PayPal and they returned my money. I do not know what their problem is lately. Someone on the phone said their computer had crashed and they " lost " several hundred orders and they were trying to " find " them all.
    I did like this resorce befor hopefully they can get their act together.
    here is another resource If you have a wholesale liscense
    have not places an order because I do not have a liscense ( I buy for family etc )
    but hopefully it is a good one .

    I placed an order on Oct. 10/23/2008 13:46:49. I waited till Nov. 12. it never came. So I drove to Dallas, a 3 1/2 hour drive for me, to get my order in person. I drove to the location on the website in Denton. The neighbors say they moved to McKinney 6 mos. ago, Long enough to change it on the website I would think.
    Went back to Dallas and I saw Jeri at market. Asked her where my order was, she said she would look into it. I asked her to just cancel, since I had to drive all the way to Dallas to get it replaced. She said she could not do that. Well I get back home and on the 14th my order shows up. It is short 2 items, only $5.80. I have email 4 times. Get auto reply and that is all..still no refund and still no backpacks. So I informed paypal today. Guess I should have read your posts before I ordered. At least it is only $5.80 could have been the whole order. I guess I need to contact BBB too so they can do something about all these complaints. I hate that I had to do this but I have a business to run as well and I need my products when promised. thank you ..

    I can only account to my situation. But i just ordered from this business last week and my package arrived today. So, I fully understand all of your frustrations! But after i read your post i thought "oh no" and then today my bags came and it was just a total suprise! I was just wanting to add this in case anyone else might read this and think the same things i thought!

    I placed an order with them on May 9th as of today May 21st I have still not received my order. I live right outside of Dallas. I think I will do what the previous poster did and just dispute this with paypal. This was my first time trying a new wholesaler...thank goodness my order was only 100 bucks. I have called and left messages and I have emailed with no response. Although they say they will get back to you within 24 hours. This is poor business and very unprofessional! I am done with this wholesaler!

    I also placed an order via the internet for bags for Mother's Day 2009. The order was placed in plenty of time for our shop to receive by Mother's Day...I called 7 times to check status of order & the voice mail was full. I then emailed them on Friday and cancelled the order. This disreputable company promptly packed the order on Sunday night & shipped on a Monday morning via Fed-Ex. Fed-Ex dumped the order on the door step, so I sent the order back to Dallas Wholesalers via UPS. They refused the box and will NOT answer the phone, voice mails, nor emails. This is a very disreputable company and we will never buy from them again. FYI: the same bags can be bought on Harry Hines in Dallas, cheaper, and the owners are delightful and helpful, Luggage Unlimited, Inc., 11453 Harry Hines Blvd, 972-488-6885.

    i checked online to find any complaints about this company (which is what i try to do when ordering online from a company i have never bought from before) and i found this site. after reading all of them, i decided to still give it a try and order the luggage set that i really wanted...

    the order came quick and complete. no problems what so ever. i love the items and will be back for more. hopefully any issues this company had in the past stay in the past... i almost didn't buy because of these complaints, but i'm glad i did! love the luggage set!!

    I placed my order on December 2. Other than the order confirmation (probably automatic) on the same day, I heard nothing from them. Funny, no money has been charged to my card yet. Since I need the merchandises before December 16, 2011, I called and no response. I emailled to cancel my order since nobody will be there to accept the shipment after December16. Just waiting to see what will happen.

    I have ordered 3 times now. All of my orders have shipped within 24 hours and I received everything I ordered and it was exactly as described. I have recommended this website to others now that I have had 3 excellent experiences in a row. After reading these awful reviews, I was afraid to order but really liked their stuff and their prices. I even dialed their number to make sure they were still in business after these reviews and they answered on the 2nd ring. I have had nothing but excellent service from this company.

    I also do not understand the complaints with this company. I assumed that because the prices are so cheap that they cut back on Customer Service expenses. I read some complaints and was concerned at first, but after I read where another person had ordered from Dallas Wholesalers, received their purchase, and was really satisfied, I decided to take a chance. I could not find zebra print merchandise anywhere else as cheap as Dallas wholesalers prices.

    Within a week or so, I received my order. I thought I only received half of my order and called customer service. I left a message, did not receive a phone call back within an hour and called back. This time, someone answered the phone. I was transferred once and a man immediately answered. The man instructed me to look inside the suitcase I ordered and the rest of my purchase was packed inside that suitcase. I received all items in excellent condition and they are of excellent quality. I was extremely impressed and satisfied with my order. I would recommend Dallas Wholesalers to anyone. I would recommend for anyone ordering to just be a little patient if you need to call and inquire about your order. If anyone wants excellent quality merchandise at cheap/wholesale prices, Dallas Wholesalers is a legitimate company. Just understand that business expenses have to be trimmed somewhere to keep the prices low. Again, I assume that is what the issue might be with the other complaints. I don't know those situations, I just took a chance and I am very happy with my order. Be patient. Since I did not have any problems with my order, I will order from this company again.
