I have contracted Biltwell Enterprises, LLC. from Bridgeport, WV to do a driveway and sidewalk replacement. This project started April 18, 2010 and still to this day (July 18, 2010) it has not been completed. I have sent emails including pictures regarding/depecting issues and incompletions and/or poor workmanship. All I have received is excuses and false promises. I have even sent a Demand for Completion Letter via Certified US Postal Service which was Returned to Sender because the contractor refused/failed to retreive it. I suggest all who may be considering a Biltwell Enterprises, LLC project to read the fine print and make sure ALL is in writing - especially dimentions.

I have started filing paperwork with the WV Attorney General's Office and the Better Business Bureau. Hopefully they can get this resolved. I know I have gotten nowhere

Resolution statement

Biltwell Enterprises customer care service did everything in their power to resolve this complaint. All attempts to contact the client have failed. Therefore, this complaint has been annulled and must not be considered where company image and it's services are concerned.

I totaly agree with the man from Bridgeport WV. Biltwel Enterprises, LLC is owned by Kurt Fresa and this man is bad news from the start
at first to get your money he will promise you picture perfect work get your down payment then you will be lucky to see him 3 weeks after he promises to start and he only gives you 3 days to back out of the contract, by then it is to late he already has half your money.
Then when they finaly break ground nothing absolutly nothing goes right from the start you have to fight what you paid for every step of the way. Then he is over apologetic never meaning a word he says. And still you get nothing that was agreed upon the work is "SHODY at best they cut corners, have to repeat work cause it was not done the first time. And then the workers start having and attitude towards the customer. The workers have to borrow tools off of customers. I mean it is insane i could go on and on.

I agree Kurt Fresa the owner took my money and never finished the work. I am in the proccess of opening a case with the Attorney General of West Virginia against Builtwell Enterprises, LLC. and the owner Kurt Fresa.

Biltwell Enterprises - Refunded deposit

We cancelled our contract with Biltwell within the legal three day time period. Mr Fresa gave us a Biltwell check for a refund of the $4, 200 we deposited with him. His check was returned from the bank as insufficient funds!

After a two week time period, no sleep wondering if we would ever get our money, and our promise to him we would seek legal action agains him for taking our money, we finally got back our money, in cash as we demanded, in two separate payments. We should not have gone through that at all. He should have return our check. He has a terrible business sense.

It is our feeling he is using deposit money to finance other projects! Do not use this company. Period. Better business rating for this company is rated F! Do your homework people.

What can be done about this man? Is there no legal jurisdiction other than paying thousands of dollars more to a law firm to bring this man to justice? He is a total fraud and liar, will definitely cheat you out of hard-earned money, and then disappear! Like the others who have commented, our experience with Mr. Fresa has been painful (I agree 100% with WVUCrazy6; sounds just like what happened to us). He started our job on June 4, 2010, and, nearly a year and thousands of dollars later, it remains unfinished. Moreover, part of our house was damaged during construction, and his "workers" removed property from our yard that was never mentioned in the contract (however, they left the construction trash). There is absolutely NO communication between Fresa and his subcontractors and other workers, much less to the homeowner. Suddenly, one day, guys you've never seen before show up and inform you they work for Biltwell and are here to (fill in the blank) with no identification or credentials. He cannot find subcontractors now who will work for him because he doesn't pay them either! However, it appears from his Facebook page he has plenty of money to spend on WVU tailgates and girlfriends. We have heard that he has closed Biltwell Enterprises. Does anyone know if this man is still in the Bridgeport area? He is supposedly "insured" according to his business card; I wonder if that is bogus or not. Does anyone know what it takes for a class action lawsuit? This man needs to be put of business for good and possibly in jail.

My mom wrote a letter to the WV attorney general and got a prompt response. the AG sent a letter to Fresa, and he responded quickly, but nothing has been done since. We're still waiting on resolution, but i recommend writing the AG with all the facts you have. Maybe if he gets enough cases against Fresa, he will take some real action

We are in business and trying to clean up any old projects that need resolved. This is a complaints board that lists anonymous names. Therefore, we are not sure who jbertsgbe is and AG Hnter. Biltwell has since relocated the office as ther lease has expired. Our new office number at our new location in Harrison County is 304-841-5953. We appreciate the concerns of the two or three of you on here and are doing our best to resolve any issues as quickly as possible. In some cases, where there is difficulty with working with a customer for numerous reasons we will ask that a third party contractor or maybe a code enforcement official to come inspect the work. We have been in this area doing this work for 21 years and are trying to do the right thing in these tough economic times. As the saying goes you can gather more bees with honey. If all parties can be civil, not slanderous and identify themsleves hopefully we can reach a resolution.

Mr. Fresa (Biltwell Enterprises) give us a brake ! The reason people are anonymous on this poster board is they do not want disclose who they are cause of the very real possibility that they will expierience negative repercusion's by the company owner beyond the negative and poor service they have already expierienced. If you would stop your unethical Buisiness practices like robbing peter (NEW CUSTOMER) to pay paul (THE OLD CUSTOMER ) you would not have very unhappy customers spilling thier guts and telling what they have directly expierienced from Biltwell and Kurt Fresa the owner.
I WILL EXPLAIN : Kurt Fresa the owner of Biltwell Enterprises sell's the customer the job with promises of promt, professional, quality work, then he collects half of the total money that is due for the project, then he will try his best to collect what he claims is a progress payment with promises that he needs the payment to actualy have progress at completing the job. When actualy what is taking place is the payment is needed to finish the last job that is still not completed and the money that was collected for that last job is already spent on god knows what, perhaps another cruise vacation for Mr. Fresa or some tailgate parties for him and his friends who he is playing the big shot for.

Now if you need me to clarify any more of the customer expierience with Kurt Fresa and Biltwell Ent. (one in the same) i will try my best.
I suggest to Mr. Fresa that if you had earned respect by treating people fair and honest, thier most likely would not have been any negative (but honest) comments that you label as slander.

Kurt i have begun the legal proccess to make sure you will never again obtain a Contractors License in the Great State Of Weat Virginia,
and therefore with hopes that you will never again be able to cheat the citizens of West Virginia again.

I am in total agreement with WVUCRAZY 6, my family has also contracted Biltwell Enterprises to do a project at our home. We signed the contract last summer (2010) and to this date we have had very little progress on our project. We hardly ever get ahold of the owner or any workers. When we do, we get excuse after excuse. We have turned our case over to the Sate Attorney General's Office.

FYI some of you may not have read this on the indictments on WBOY website. Kurt Fresa, 48, of Bridgeport, faces charges for one count of failure to meet obligation to provide support to a minor and five counts of fraudulent schemes.

The problem is, Kurt's father, who is actually a respected businessman, always pays his worthless son out of trouble. If I were such a ### that I had to dishonor my father over and over and over, I would bury my head in the sand. Not Kurt, he has no conscience. He should have been in prison years ago, but once daddy offers to refund people their money, you have no choice but to take the money. With that said, you then give up the right to pursue anything further criminally or civilly. The case for the 5 fraudulent scheme charges currently pending, has been postponed so that Mr. Fresa can make restitution (daddy). Nothing ever sticks to this greasy ###. I would have broken his legs long ago but don't even go there, he will quickly send you to jail where he belongs!
