In September All Headline News CEO Jeff Brown hired me to write news stories for that company. I quit in early November and have never been paid close to $800 which even they agree is owed to me.

When i try to collect, they have more excuses then my first wife at bedtime. Now they will not return e-mails or calls. I checked the West palm Beach Florida Better Business Bureau and Chamber of Commerce, where the firm is located. The BBB told me the company has an "unsatisfactory" rating and they said they doubted i would ever get paid and I was not the only one. The Chamber booted them out in November of 2006.Because this is interstate it will be difficult and expensive to sue, though my lawyer is working on it. I urge all journalists to not work for this scam operation. As for the news content writing, I can only suggest you visit their site and judge for yourself.

If you work for or are thinking about working for AHN Media / All Headline News / Feedsyndicate / Jeff Brown / W. Jeffrey Brown, you are an idiot. This guy is a con-artists and get ready to be scammed. This guy doesn't pay! He lies, he cheats, he'll make up a billion excuses, but in the end you will never see your paycheck. Some of us past employees are thinking that the whole AP settlement he was claiming to pay every month is one huge fat lie, as the settlement was over two years ago and he still owes every single journalist who has worked for him thousands and thousands of dollars. He lives in Wellington, has a wife (who also works for the company, Alexandria Brown) and tow school-aged kids so you would think he's a decent guy, but he's not. He's even scammed his own clients, as you can see from the above complaints. There have been past editors that have taken him to court and have won, and there are some current ones who are building up a case against him. He is well aware of the money and payroll problems but refuses to fire anyone because he doesn't want to pay unemployment compensation and has filed for bankruptcy several times before (and has changed the name of the company because of that reason too). Current employees go 4-6 weeks without seeing a paycheck and whenever you try to reach out to him about the problem, he claims to know nothing and instead puts it all on the accountant, Grace. Allegedly, he's refinanced his house to the AP as part of the settlement and rather than paying his own EMPLOYEES, he's probably taking care of this own business first. Simply put, he's an unethical ugly krispy kreme of a liar and needs to be put out of business. He's even bought a guard dog as big as he is for his own safety because according to him, has received death threats in the past. He's currently in the process of changing AHN's current name from AHN Media to Feedsyndicate to further avoid his current debts. He treats his employees pretty poorly, disrespects them and doesn't pay them. This guy needs to be taken out of business and ASAP.

I have been trying to get in contact with AHN for the past month and a half after being billed for a subscription to their services which I cancelled in August. Not a single email of mine has been replied to and when I try and call (I live in Europe) I just get an automated voice recording telling me that calls without callerIDs are not accepted - despite having this feature enabled on my cell phone!

Jeffrey Brown, who was initially extremely efficient in helping me get my account set up and running, has also not replied to any of my emails. The only communication I have received so far, was a few days after my requested subscription cancellation where I asked for confirmation that my cancellation had actually been processed. I was told that my account would not be deactivated as their was still activity on it - despite my one and only news feed already having been removed!? Ironically, the day after I was charged for September all the account activity suspiciously dropped to nothing (even though I had not changed a thing on my side). Obviously my account had been tampered with by AHN so that they could justify charging me for another month. I have just received the next automated email telling me that I will be billed for October too...I will now have to cancel my credit card as you can´t amend/remove your payment details on their website.

DO NOT even consider signing up for their news service subscriptions - they´re a bunch of dishonest, money-grabbing fraudsters!

Let me warn you all who seek to work in All Headlines News (AHN). There is a band of crooks working there who will not pay you a penny despite making you work for months.

The leader of the pack is

Jeffrey Brown (CEO)
Grace Carelli
Melvin Baker
Matt Borghese

to name a few. So, the choice is yours...

Jeffrey Brown and his so-called All Headlines News (AHN) is a front to dupe peolple. I worked for the news agency for a month-and-a-half from July 15-August 31 and got paid just for 15 days.

So, all those aspiring to join the fraudulent company, beware. They'll just pay you for 15 days, making it look that it's a professional organization. And then the money for the next cycle won't get transferred. I worked free for a month and despite several e-mails to one Grace Carelli, I never got a response.

We should run a campaign against such unscrupulous people. People who use you and then dump you.

I subscribed to their service recently and cancelled after the first week as I wasn't getting enough articles for my subject to justify the $99 usd charge. I received an email saying fine to the cancellation. I was then charged for 4 additional months even though I never logged in or used any material. each time I would phone and email and have never had anyone answer the phone. But occasionally I would get an email saying they were looking into it. I figured that would be it then I would get charged again. I can't imagine anyone doing this. They seemed to have a professional website and their news is fairly widely syndicated. Stay far away is my advice, both publishers and writers should not be doing business with someone like this.

Since I first posted I have learned many people at All Headline News have not been paid, or had pay cheques bounce. Many are afraid to complain because they say they have been told they will never collect what is owed to them and they will be fired. They say the firm should be called All Headache News. As they have done with me, AHN will not respond to phone calls or e-mails complaining of no pay or late pay or bounced cheques. A look at the AHN website will show openings in all positions in all states and several countries. This alone should be a warning to stay away from All Headline News.

Jeff Brown, AHN owner is a master con-artist and will continue to bilk people as long as he is in business. I urge all advertisers and journalist to boycott All Headline News least they be taken for a ride.
