Me and hired a contractor from Angie's list to extend a porch, extend a kitchen, and build a closet. We paid Mr. Derrick Vasta and Mr. Eian Kennedy $4,2050.00 for new materials. The material was used had nails in the wood. We would also like $2,200.00 repayment of an irregation that was destroyed.
The work was never completed and we fired him for lying and never come if to do the work.
Desired outcome: Monies paid back in full
A similar situation happened to my family. Derrick vasta took our money and stopped showing up to my house to work. He also illegally plumbed a bathroom that will not not drain and can never be used. He also refuses to pay for damages to my house caused by him to include a broken window, wavey drywall, and removal of plumbing and cost of plumbing parts. He is unqualified to run his own construction business. Avoid at all cost.
