Having a disappointing experience with Coker Flooring with a tile installation, only $2500 plus. Tile uneven after a return of the installation crew. That return of the crew was not scheduled but was supposed to be preceded by an inspector, I would humbly suggest that potential Coker customer look elsewhere. Promise the world and do absolutely nothing, extremely disappointing.

Still awaiting an inspector, but I am not holding my breath. Due to an inept installation, extra tile was used that I had purchased for any future mishaps. Cannot get Coker Tile to replace that tile at the same price.

Crew have a very limited ability with English American. Your are supposed to telephone someone at their Dallas store when communication with installers breaks down. Does anyone need this?

Humbly suggest again you should shop elsewhere. Aggravation levels will be at normal levels by avoiding any dealings with Coke Flooring.

Longevity in business means very little, the present is all important!

Pete Crorkin.

The installation of my tile was verbally agreed upon for November 25. This was not set though I paid in full for the tile and installation November 17 The store manager told me the earliest would be the day after Thanksgiving, Nov. 28. I reluctantly agreed and changed my plans to accommodate. When the installers showed up, the tile (stone) was not the same color as the sample the store (Lewisville, TX) had. I called the store and the sales person came to my house with the sample and even he agreed that the colors were different. I told them not to install the tile. He said he would have his manager call me. He did about one hour later. The manager argued that color variousness in stone are to be expected and are mentioned on my contract. I told him that this is not a variance, but a different color altogether; "you sold me an apple and delivered an orange." I did take pictures and showed them to others who agree with me, that these are two different colors. The manager said he would exchange the stone for a different lot, if available, but could not guarantee a better result. I would also pay a restocking fee of 25%, which is about $550 for their mistake. I told him to cancel the order and I would stop payment through the credit card company.

I would strongly advise looking to someone else for flooring. DO NOT PAY CASH! GET EVERY DETAIL IN WRITING! As I told this manager with the schedule debacle, he has my money and was going to force me to accept something I did not want or asked for. The same goes for the bad stone that he tried to tell me was the same color as the sample. If that is so, then why did his own sales person agree with me?
