We ordered the DVD set of the old series Step By Step from the website. The item pictured on the website was the actual DVD. What we received from China was a bootleg (illegal) copy of poor quality. Obviously a scam. We disputed the charge with the credit card company and were told we should try to contact the company first. I haven't done it yet, so I can't say what their response, if any, will be- I'm not hopeful. Regardless, this is obviously a scam. They're selling poor quality copies of DVD's that are shipped from China while misrepresenting themselves and their products on their website. Please save yourself the trouble and DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

Your DVD Corner Store / AKA BoxLink out of the Republic of China is bootlegging horrible video sales. I recently purchased the entire series of the TV show "The Waltons" and "The Real McCoys" from them *about $320.00 worth and out of 120 DVD's I got about 4 that were not blank, these 4 are pixelated, not in color, the audio is horrible. I have been scammed terribly by this irreputible company. I paid for them via VISA Green Dot and they couldn't do anything for me after 3 months from my original dispute. All I can say is DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING from this company. I don't want to see anyone else get scammed by people too lazy to earn an honest days living and rather bootleg blank dvd's.

I contacted clickDVD for a refund after purchasing the entire Peyton Place series. It was also a gift and my mother in law had trouble viewing it. They gave me a runaround, so I asked VISA to intervene and the whole amount was credited by VISA

I received a set of the complete series of the TV show FRIENDS for Christmas from my sister that she ordered months ago. I have seen MANY signs that it is an illegal copy bootlegged from china, including the UPC code. My parents told me 2 ignore it and remember that my sister got it 4 me, but i just can't seem 2 get it off my mind. Any Ideas? I feel that I need help. :( Mistakes include various spelling mistakes, lots of skips and freezes and screens messing up and looking pixalie, very low price, UPN code mentioned for bootlegs. what should I do?

Placed the order on November 1st and still haven't received the DVD's we ordered. They were shipped to a completely different city and then returned to China. Got 1 response back from them re the complaint, which only re-stated that the item was shipped and not picked up on time, then re-shipped back to China. We will try to reverse the charges on our credit card. We will never use this company again.

I ordered the complete DVD set of "The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis" at the end of last year, and received the same bootleg, cheap copies most people have mentioned, shipped from China. Some of the DVDs did not even play, and I tried them on 2 separate DVD players and 2 computers (Mac and PC).

The ones that did play simply looked like cheap VHS/Betamax copies transferred onto DVD; you could even see the TV channel logo at the bottom right corner!

However, you DO HAVE RECOURSE, if you act swiftly. Contact your credit card company and dispute the charge. They do ask that you attempt to contact the seller, but if you can't, then they WILL investigate. In my case, since the ClickDVD web site still existed, I was able to contact via email and phone someone at the company, who told me to ship the DVDs back to China. Once I did that, via registered mail (get a receipt from the Post Office, and a tracking number), I tried to contact customer support, and that's when I got stonewalled.

So I called the credit card company again, and explained all the steps I had taken. I received a conditional full credit of the purchase while they investigated. A few weeks later, I got a letter from the credit card company telling me the credit they issued was permanent.

My total loss was the amount it cost me to ship back the DVDs, which probably didn't make it back to the seller, and most likely got confiscated by Chinese customs.

For safest results, purchase your DVDs from reputable sellers like Amazon, Best Buy, etc. The price may be higher, but you'll save yourself the hassle. In my case, my decision to purchase from ClickDVD was due to the fact that they were offering the complete set of the entire series, with all the episodes, which actually doesn't exist yet, and is not yet available, from reputable sellers.

I also am having an issue with Click DVDStore. Ordered Peyton Place complete series on Dec 4th 2009 for a Christmas gift. Wish I had seen these postings first. DVDs finally came in Dec. 28th! "Tracy" at Click answered emails prior to delivery when I wasn't receiving my gift. DVDs are partly watchable. Some freeze up and you can't fast forward. We tried on multiple DVD players. I emailed and asked what to do for a refund and have not heard since I sent that one week ago. Now the Click website is no longer working. Big surprise. I contacted my credit card company to put the item in dispute and hopefully I will get a refund. Live and learn.

I went in to check your comment. I found no address, no phone number and no customer service. Also I read their privacy policy. It states that they intentionally sell "bootleg" product under a guise - "There is a section of the American copyright law known as "The Berne Act" that Clearly states: films unreleased in the United States, including original versions of films altered and/or edited for release in the United States, are NOT protected by American copyright; thus, they are considered public domain. The entire purpose of our website is to provide otherwise unavailable films or television shows to the serious collector." Guess what?! THAT'S BOGUS! The Berne Convention Implementation Act of 1988 mentions nothing of the kind.

I ordered (and paid with credit card) complete 9-season set of The Virginian TV series on DVDs. Amazing price of $99.95 plus $20 S&H! Problem is, Click DVD Store either didn't exist or no longer exists. I ordered Dec. 26. Still not here and I'm sure they won't be. No phone number on site and when I send an email to the Contact Us section of the site, it goes in to limbo. The website itself no longer exists. There are couple others out there making same apparently bogus offer. One is TV DVD Outlet, whose website and The Virginian ad is identical to Click except for the "store" name. Beware of offers that seem too good to be true. I usually am, but failed to do my due diligence research this time.

Just contact your credit card company and file a "Fraudulent Transaction" to get your money back!

I ordered the Highlander series. Quality wasn't an issue! Several discs were totally unwatchable. E-mailed them asking what to do about it and to this date have received no answer! Live and Learn! Going to another site for my movies and TV series from this day on.

I ordered whole " Kojak" series from ClickDVD, shipment came more then three weeks later from China, where it must have been made somewhere in backwoods straight from TV, including bits of commercials.Picture blurry, colors unreal, digital occasionaly falling apart. After I complained, and wanted the address where to send back, no more communications from them. My advice is, keep away from this outfit!

I to ordered a 132 CD set of the series "Dark Shadows" I expected that for ONLY $124.00 the disks would be boot legs and not very good copies. To my surprise the bootleg copies were pretty good for a TV show that was done in the late 60's. I must admitt I was just happy to be able to get a complete DVD copy of a 45 year old long forgotten TV show. You have to look at the CHEAP price and know something is not right, I tooka shot for $124.00 and was quite pleased, I mean the original quality of the TV show back in 1965 sucked pretty bad, so the copies are'nt really much worse. You get what you pay for, and so did I...
