I have read several complaints about this air conditioning company from different countries. Well, I would like to share to you my experience with this company.. and please note that this is happening at the country where its main branch is.. the Philippines.

Last February, I purchased a 2 Toner Split Type Air condition for my office. It took them almost two weeks to install the said unit before finally being able to make it work.

Last September of this year, less than 8 month after, the air conditioner unit developed a problem. I reported it to their authorized service unit and on September 22 2007, it was inspected and diagnosed by their technician. Apparently the compressor unit conked out.

It is now November 15, 2007, 24 days later and the aircon is still not working. Attempts to follow it up is futile. The Service Manager Mr. Lee refuse to entertain our call for help. Her secretary is also very efficient,.. in hidding my Lee.

So for the meantime, all our office employees are suffering from the heat, while they enjoy the money that we have paid for this product.

Carrier air conditioners in the Philippines have terrible reliability. Their weldments on the evaporator leak easily in several bends, the remote conked out and after buying a new remote, I am told that the remote sensor in the unit also needs to be replaced. This particular unit is less than 6 years with us. I have other aircon units that are much older, Panasonic brand, and have never, ever had problems with leaks and remotes, just 6-monthly cleaning and they've been running reliably.

We have been suffering in the heat now almost 2 weeks now to get our window unit serviced and no repair date in sight, they won't return texts or call. Called Carrier themselves and they had to suggestion. Carrier has what they call a Carrier’s cool promise:, well here’s my cool promise: MY NEXT UNIT WILL NOT BE A CARRIER, IN FACT I SUGGEST POTENTIAL BUYERS STAY AWAY FROM CARRIER LIKE THE PLAGUE!

I totally agree! Carrier's (Philippines) after sales service SUCKS big time! I have a 4 month old 1.5 HP which is supposed to be cleaned free of charge today bet. 9-12am. I inquired about their cleaning services as early as January, confirmed it 2 weeks ago and daily for the past 3 days.

Every hour after 12 noon I've been calling their call center to confirm if the technicians are still coming over...apparently they are just running late but assured me that they will come today.

620 pm today I got a call informing that they can no longer make it!

I agree, the after sales service of carrier (philippines) air conditioning unit is not at all efficient. i reported a dripping water problem almost a month ago and inspite of several follow ups, nothing happened. All i get is 'we will schedule' answer. Summer time is almost gone... i am from pangasinan...to those planning to buy air conditioning unit, consider the maintenance

right now I'm having same problem of yours my 2HP split type aircon i bought it 11months ago had a problem with the compressor and needs immediate replacement. And it's realy a burden on my part bec. I need to spend about 10K for the part (motor). I never avail of the warranty bec. they say that it had been installed by others instead of the company itself coz it was too expensive for them to install the unit about 8K while an engineer did at 4k.. so as I was the one suffering right now.huhuhuh.help me what to do..Can I make complaint against the company or store where I had purchase the item? Plz. email me at mj19_stone@yahoo.com.tnx and God bless to all!

I absolutely agree. we also have a carrier system, and the unit has many problems including dripping water all over our documents.

very poor service. but whenever you go to buy an aircon every company pushes you to buy Carrier
