We purchased a 2022 Keystone Cougar at Campers World in Berkley, Massachusetts on February 27, 2022. On April 1, 2022, the camper was delivered to Bourne Scenic Park in Bourne, Massachusetts as we are seasonal campers until November 2022. On the Evening of April 1, 2022, the heat did not work on the Cougar and called Camper's World and was told that they did not have manpower to come look at the problem and to contact Keystone and let them know as it is under Warranty. I was then told by Camper's world to contact my own company and fix the camper. I had a company come out to fix the camper and it cost $542.00. Keystone stated to get photos and invoice and submit to them for review and reimbursement. After several attempts and calls that I made and I had to send over the invoices 3 times, no calls were ever made to me as the customer. Keystone stated that the invoice has been approved but since it was not done by an authorized dealer, I would need to fill out a W9 form and provide my SS# in order to get payment of the $542.00 for the defective part that caused the heater not to work on the brand new 2022 Keystone Cougar.
On May 24,2022, I went to Camper's World and spoke with Sales Manager and asked for assistance as this is unacceptable and I am not in any position to provide my SS# and was told that she never heard of that and I was displeased with my service with Keystone and her company from day 1. I was informed that she would call Keystone on by behalf and contact me the next day and not sure what the resolution would be and also we were having some issues with the television, radio and the ceiling fan was not working and was told that a service tech would call me that upcoming Friday May 27, 2022 to discuss. No call from the service tech. I contacted the Sales Representative that sold us the camper the following Friday, June 3, 2022 and advised that I have not heard from anyone and he was going to speak with the Sales Manager to contact me. I contacted Keystone on June 9, 2022 to check on the status of my claim and was told that pending per the ss# and no one from Campers World called them and they placed a call to Camper's World and spoke with the Sales Manager and was told that she or another person would call me back. No call as of yet. I called the Sales Representative again on June 15, 2022 and wanted to follow up and he had no idea what was going on as he thought everything was taken care of.
The Sales Representative has been great, returning calls, very nice and kind and providing information and support during this whole process.
As of Today, June 20, 2022, no calls from the Sales Manager from Camper's World to assist me or help me out on the issues that I am having with my camper. I have been told 3 times that the Sales Manager would call me back and nothing. The customer service is unacceptable. Keystone will not pay out the $542.00 without my ss#.
The customer service is unacceptable. I am getting nowhere with Camper's World and Keystone about this matter and the customer service is poor and they don't want to take care of their customers and my time is valuable as well. I continue to make calls and nothing is getting done or resolved as a customer that spent a lot of money on a brand new 2022 Keystone Camper that I would like to enjoy with my family.
