YMCA - races

I was recommended by my friends to try the one week pass before signing up as a membership. My friend tried this promotion last month and she just got the membership a day ago. We called them before we head there, and they said the promotion is till available. In October 8th, 2013 10:20pm. We were served by a staff named "David" at the YMCA in Markham location. He was talking to us in a laze attitude that he did not want to be bother. My friend has a heavy accent and does not speak smooth English like he does, and he was trying to make fun of us and rejected everything we said. He was being races that other people can get the 1week promotion, but we cannot because we are asians even my friend told him she got it from the other staff, but he said that we were trying to lie to the without checking the system to look for the evident.
My friend was speaking to him nicely asking about the 1week promotion,
David Staff:" The promotion is no longer existed." (without explaining why)
I:" When did it end?"
David Staff:" I don't know~probably 5-6 months ago?" (with a question tone)
My Friend;" No, it cant be true because i just got that promotion last month" (which is the FACT)
David Staff:" Well, it is over now. If you want to try, you can try it tonight for free. If not then I can't do anything unless you sign up as a member."
My Friend:" But the lady on the phone told us the promotion still available."
David Staff:" Well, she doesn't know anything, that is why she said yes." (She was putting us on hold 3 time to confirm if it is still available by the way)
I:" So you are saying the promotion is a lie then?"
David Staff:" Hey! if you don't want to join, it is your problem, we don't have the promotion anymore, alright?"
I:" you don't even know when it ended, and you can't even explain it to me why."
David Staff:" Hey! All I am saying is the promotion is over. There is no recommendation from other people and you get 1week free. unless you want to join the membership now."

This is my first time visiting YMCA, and I will tell all my friends NOT to go there because the staffs are unprofessional and did not train well to serve customers. This is embarrassing the company and himself as a staff who has the responsibility to give the right information to customers. I am very disappointed to this kinda of service in Canada and I am surprise for this kind of big company has this kind of staff to serve the customers.
