VESID reviews and complaints

I suffer from Bipolar Disorder. I was a patient at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse, NY in 2007. I ran into a problem that had to do with how the police monitor people who have had problems with drug addiction. I essentially was the recipient of "police brutality" by one of the hospital security guards at St. Joseph's Hospital. The official policies of St. Joseph's Hospital is that they have to honor the concept of "diversity" - so logically my claim is a type of civil rights case.

I was assigned a guy named Kevin McMullen at the NYC vesid and after about 2 years of helping me pass all my NYS Teacher exams, after i get my license, Providing me with a tutor, I start my job search with them. Well, there were not too many jobs available for Art Teachers so after about a month of looking to no avail with VESID I get a letter saying Due to my disablity VESID does not believe I a can get a job as an Art Teacher and they close my case.. About a month later, I secure a job in the NYCBOE as an Art Teacher, I have been there since 2010 with no issues at all. I recently contacted them to see if they can help me pay for my license in Art Ed and they even refuse to return my calls or my emails. Really helpful. They told me when i was there that they only pay for grad school if a client needs their MA to keep their job and I do. I even contacted the state office and they told me the same thing that they do pay for your MA. Now that i need it no one even calls me back. I am going to lose my license because of this. thanks VESID!
