This review was chosen algorithmically as the most valued customer feedback.

I received an unsolicited call indicating they had a buyer for my two timeshares (not listed for sale). All I needed to do was send them $3, 100 to open an escrow account. Of course, I would get that back after the sale. They would not put any in writing because "that would be illegal."

I did a lot of research and then questioned the company. Needless to say, I caught them in MANY lies. They were unable to provide a business ID number, they operate from a mailbox (even though they insisted they are physically located at that address -- they are not -- I checked), their main telephone is a cell number, etc.

Please be careful if contacted by Blue Scape Timeshares. They are very slick.

I received a call from Blue Scape Timeshares. The first day was the easiest, they couldn't call me enough and when I would call to speak to Maxine Parker or Elizabeth Mitchell, they got on the phone right away. I didn't find anything online about scams so I thought it was legit. NOT SO! They asked me for $2000 for closing costs and fees. It told them I could not send that. They reduced it to $1000 on the spot. I should have known better! But they caught me on an off day I guess. Lucky them! They told me my closing would take place within 2 weeks and they had a definite buyer for my property. After I sent my certified check, they told me I would receive the contract and closing papers and my certified check for the amount of the purchase a few days before the closing. It didn't happen. It then became literally impossible to get either Elizabeth Mitchell, Maxine Parker, Anthony Taylor, Laura Smith, Curtis Morechester on the phone. I would call and the receptionists Abby or Vanessa or Alex or Jose would immediately put me on hold for several minutes at a time, then I would get disconnected. I would call back numerous times - same thing. One day, I had a calling war with receptionist Abby, who repeatedly picked up the phone and immediately hung up on me because she claimed I yelled at her! No joke, I think I called about 30 times in a row and she hung up each and every one of those times - then finally the last time I called, she transferred me immediately to Elizabeth Mitchell. They claim they do not have caller ID. So how did she know it was me calling all those times and then on the last call, transferred me to the exact person I was looking to speak to but never asked me who I was calling for? So I finally get Elizabeth on the phone and tell my closing date came and went! What happened? She told me she didn't understand why I wasn't contacted to say the closing was postponed. My closing got rescheduled several times. Those dates came and went. I never received any of the paperwork they promised me or my certified check for the purchase. I finally filed a claim with BBB and then suddenly got a call from Curtis Morechester (does he really exist?) who was degrading and rude to me telling me that they are an advertising agency and belittled me by saying "don't you read paperwork before you sign it?" I told him yes I read it, but I when I questioned the "advertising company comment on the paperwork, I was told by Maxine Parker that this paperwork was the preliminary documents that needed to be signed and I would receive the contract in a few days." I told him I was a single mother of three children and his response was "and that means what to me?" This company is a fraud and they have taken $1000.00 from me. I am doing all I can at this moment to get my money back. What a nightmare! My next step is writing a letter to the Attorney General Las Vegas, 555 E. Washington Avenue, Suite 3900, Las Vegas, NV 89101. Hopefully they will be able to help. I also have consulted legal counsel in my own state of New York who is looking to help in any way he can as well. Stay clear of this company! Never trust them if they contact you. They are a complete and total scam! FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD DO NOT BELIEVE ANY POSTS ON HERE THAT SAY THEY ARE LEGITIMATE - IT IS PROBABLY THEM MAKING THOSE POSTS!

I plan to take a ride by Kirkman and International Drive in Orlando when I am there in March as another poster on here (who claims they used to work at Blue Scape Timeshares) says that that's where they are really located, and that they are not located in Las Vegas. I don't understand how these companies can get away with this. I mailed my documents to 2961 INDUSTRIAL RD # 610 LAS VEGAS, NV 89109 via Fedex - so how are they located in Orlando? Other people who have posted complaints on here claim that this address is an empty lot via google maps. Very slick if this is true! The BBB says Blue Scape Timeshares has had 11 recent complaints and they have not replied to any of them so for me not to expect any response or resolution from Blue Scape Timeshares. They are a scam, like no other!

Good news, Blue scape time share the company was raided and the owners were indicted a few weeks ago. It was said the company avg. weekly gross was way over 100k..

With that said, anyone fallen victim of this should contact Orlando's DA to see if you can file some type of case to recover your money.

I hope this info helps.

This company got me too! I gave them certified checks, sent them by next day delivery by mail. My closing was set for November 18. Guaranteed! Date came and gone, no closing. I kept in close contact with this company. THE LAST CONTACT I HAD WITH THIS COMPANY WAS ON DECEMBER 6. I spoke with Lauren in the legal department on Monday, December 6. Lauren stated the closing had been delayed, but due to some clients not fulfilling their end, their contracts were getting pushed back. Mine should close on December 24. I called this company on Monday 12/13 for an update. PHONE NUMBER HAS BEEN DISCONNECTED OR IS NO LONGER IN SERVICE. Scammed AGAIN!

OK, so I lied. I am making one more comment. As dgrif22 said, there is now a company on the web called Universal Propertys. www.universalpropertys.com They say they are in Las Vegas and it appears to be the same phone number. The phone number is not listed on reverse directory. I have called them to see what is shaking with them. I will report later. Please refer all future comments to Unversal Propertys and start up a new link. We need to keep on top of these type of crooks. They say they are good in the eyes of Online Business Bureau. Who the heck is Online Business Bureau? I think they are a sham for bad companies. I have tried to reach them about a business, but they won't respond. WARNING ON ALL. Do your own due diligence first.

My last comment on this company. Their webpage has disappeared, just like they have. I am sure they are taking on another name. NEVER buy / list from an advertising company. They don't have escrow and are NOT a real estate company. NEVER send a company cashier's check. If they have an escrow company, you will deposit the money into escrow, not them. Don't do business with someone that is not listed with the state's business entity site. Always check them out to make sure they actually are a business. If anyone has a new name for this group of shxxxsters, please post for everyone to kow.

Looks like another company at the same Mailing address exists. Universal Propertys (yes I spelled it right according to their documentation). Interestingly enough, their document looks a lot like the same one from Bluescape. Guess they jsut saved time in changing names and resending the document out. Anyone been duped by the "new" company yet? I know I won't be signing up for it.

Looks like the same physical address is now being used by a cmpany called Universal Propertys. Yes, I spelled that correctly, though I don't think they did.
Same looking documentation too that I received from bluescape as well (hey, ess work to jsut change the name of the company I guess). Anyone out there already been taken by Unviersal Propertys?

They don't seem to be answering their phones any longer. The call goes directly to voice mail. Today the answering system is stating an error - mail box is full. Looks like their little scheme has caught up to them.

I signed up with Bluscape and have not had much luck. I was in Orlando last week and drove by the address in Kirkman and to my surprise no one was there. I was hoping to find some answers. Just my luck. Most likely they have move to another location.

I was a former employee with Blue Scape Properties for a short tenure. When I found out the unscrupulous practices – JUST PURE DECEPTIONS I ran and never looked back! A representative would cold call owners for a lead sheet provided by the company telling them they had buyers and even going far enough telling that certified funds were set up in a escrow account along with a closing date if certified funds are mailed to what to believed to be at their office when indeed it went to a PO box in Vegas. The company is based in Orlando, FL. Blue Scape Properties have several DBA’s and change their names and mailing address for payments often. Word to the wise no matter what name they are using if you are contacted and asked for upfront funds especially certified funds – HANG UP! If you feel that you been taken by this company contact me via email at suebluescape@aol.com

Thank you for this forum where consumers can get legit information about companies like Blue Scape. Thanks to you, I think I saved $2890. My story is that I got a call from Mike Quinn, a worker at Blue Scape and alledgedly a licensed real estate agent in Nevada. (He never produced a real estate license number though he promised he would.) He said that Chase Bank wanted to buy my Antigua timeshare for $28900 (tho I was only asking $5500). He said the money was in escrow and the closing was set for August 20. All I had to do was sign the contract he was faxing to me and send a certified check for $2980 overnight to their company for "processing and transfer costs" related to the upcoming transaction. I would get this back at closing along with my $29800. Obviously this sounded too good to be true, so the first thing I did was to run a reverse phone lookup on the phone. It revealed not Blue Scape, but rather a 72 year old LV man. Then I received this 2 page fax. Page 1 - details about how to send the money overnight. Page 2 - a description of my timeshare (with fine print at the bottom of the page stating that they were an advertising company) which apparently Chase had agreed to buy without knowing any specific details about the timeshare. Nowhere on either page was there any contractural language that would give me any hint of protection as a consumer to get a full refund if the closing didn't occur. Next day I get a call from Maureen in the "legal department" with all this legalese about FTC protection I have, but nothing in writing whatsoever, nor the name of the potential buyer, nor verification that there were actually funds in an escrow account. When I placed her on hold to get my lawyer on a 3 way with her, she hung up. (Surprise, surprise!) For the record, BBB gives this unlicensed company an "F" for good reason: they really are a sophisticated SCAM. Stay as far away as possible. Don't waste your time with them. If you know anybody at 60 Minutes, these characters need a Mike Wallace style good ol' sting operation! Meanwhile, I have given them a new name: B.M. Timeshares (short for Bernie Madoff Timeshares).

I would take your paystub to the County Attorney's office, if you are in Las Vegas. Otherwise I would go to the Orlando police, if you are there. I have not been scammed by them, since I expected that is what it is, but I would love to shut these guys down.

To prove a point that Bluescape is only an advertising company, go to their web site at www.bluescapetimeshares.com Go to their Q&A section where they clearly say they are an advertising company and they will refer you to a closing company and even recommend escrow and an attorney. So if any sales person says that they have a buyer - BEWARE. They don't handle closing costs, ONLY advertising, as if you need that. Read all of their website to realize that their sales people will lie, since there contract is what protects them, since the contract says it is an advertising fee that you are paying for. Also, their address in Las Vegas is at Mail Box Etc.

If you work with them in Orlando, why do they call and say they are a company in Las Vegas? Why did someone tell me they were on the 6th floor in Clark County, Nevada? Why do they have to use a cell phone in Las Vegas area, if they are really in Orlando? Why lie that the company is in Las Vegas, when in reality they are using a Mail Box (company name) address in Las Vegas. They are hiding something and decent companies DON"T play hide and seek like this company does. Why do they only fax things? To avoid federal crimes of mail fraud. Why do they tell you it's for closing costs, escrow or ?. Because they are NOT a real estate or resale company. They are only an advertising company. Their contract says so right in it. So "LIPTEL", don't say they are decent. The sales people LIE, LIE LIE. They aren't in Las Vegas, they are ONLY advertising, not selling. And if the sales (loose term) personnel are deceitful, then get rid of them.

You call stealing and lying a good company? Wonder who paid you to say those things... They mislead, they lie, and they steal your money and they promise everything but deliver nothing... Anthony Tiller gave me his word many months ago about refunding my money but nothing. His word doesnt mean squat. When they tell you they have a buyer and all you have to do is pay for your share of the closing costs and tell you up front they are not here to list or advertise it they have the buyer in hand and then next thing they tell you is, oh, we dont have any buyers we're just an advertising company.. This doesnt sound like fraud by deception to you? State Attorney Generals think differently.. They will prosecute... Crap is about to hit the fan with these crooks..

Received my call today from "Dan Alexander" had a "client" there who I "talked to", asking some genereal questions about the timeshare I had. Then Dan stated, I would not have to send any money but bottom line was I had a time share to sell and the client wanted "MY" timeshare. And then for legal work I would have to send $1017 for escrow, just called again because their "client" was waiting - told him I wanted to look things over and he said that was stupid and $1000 was not a lot of money! Anyone who says these are legitimate people, show me your contract and I mean a contract that says your timeshare was sold and deposited check - not a check to deposit because they can fake it but your name on the check, your DL to prove it is you and maybe I will believe you!

Ok folks, I have written about this company a few times. NO ONE will pay TOP dollar for "resale" timeshares. You are lucky if you get 50% of your original purchase, because most of your purchase was front end sales charges. Let's be real here. Talk to a legitimate resale group and you will find out. My 1 bedroom cost me $4995 and a real estate company offered me $2500 less fees, which netted maybe $1000. My club (www.ravc.com) is now offering a 1 bedroom for $1495 (go online to see for yourself) and with that you get 2 weeks of usage right away. That is a net cost of $280 after annual costs are taken out. But is more like $884, because you normally get 1 week, when you buy. So why in the world would anyone pay $20, 000, when they can go right to the actual timeshare and buy if for FAR LESS. People are forfeiting their timeshares, due to the economy and timeshare clubs (or ?) are not getting the annual fees. So they will sell these memberships cheaply, just to get the annual fees again. They already got the front money once. The money they do get is just to pay for office expenses. NEVER buy from these type of companies. Always pay far far less than original list price... ALWAYS. I may buy another one, because they are cheap.

Today my husband and I recieved a call from a person named "Dan Alexander" yah right, so when he told me that he was interested in our condo in hawaii and that he had a buyer for it in his office right now. He told me and my husband that he usually doesn't deal with time share condo sales or transfers but his client seen our timeshare advertisement and wanted OUR timeshare so he would do the transaction for her. I told him to speak with my husband in reguards to purchasing the condo. I gave "Dan" his phone number at work and my husband called me on his other office line an I could hear "Dan" saying that we wouldn't have to come up with any money, just send them $1, 300.00 and he could close this deal with the lady in his office right now, if we used there title company to close. But of course we would get our $1, 300.00 back when it closes in escrow. My husband then told him we might want to use our own title company. Dan then advised him well then the condos selling price would be reduced. My husband then told him he would have to get back to him in a few hours to check with our realty agent friend. Dan told him to please hurry and that he will make sure this person had lunch while she waited ... HE has not called back as of now and I wonder if this lady is finished with her lunch yet? or is she staying for dinner and breakfast too? I also see where there is a few people that are saying that this company helped them sell there timeshare ! OHH Please there probably the ones that wrote that comment or paid someone something to write that bunch of crap. When my husband was talking to "Dan" I went on complaints board and on Better Bussiness Bureau web sites also to check this Blue Scape THANK YOU FOR YOUR VALUBLE INFORMATION BUYER BEWARE attude in reguards to Blue Scape ! Thank GOD ! DO NOT DO BUSSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY !

You can write to the Attorney General of Las Vegas, the name I have now is Anthony Teller as the manager at BlueScape Timeshares, and here is the address they are located at. I have also added the address of the Attorney General, those who have lost money I would suggest that you write to the Attorney General, they will help. I plan on writing to them, and copying all the complaints that are listed, and send it with all the paperwork that I have. The more complaints the Attorney General gets on a company the better, then legal action can be taken, and the can be made to close.

We were contacted last week and the conversation ended today after reading this blog. They said they had a buyer and would pay top dollar all I needed was to send a cashiers check to them for $2, 441. The concern that start to come up was who where they. I looked them up with Better Business Bureau. The got an F-. didn't have any negative comments, just they didn't give any info and they didn't give any license information. The original fax received was incorrect to what we agreed. They faxed another and I noted that the maintenance fees were wrong. Daniel Alexander said that I could just mark that out and write in a different amount if I wanted. He also went on to Bash the Better Business Bureau. Stating that all they do is take the companies money. He was very short with me and belligerent on the phone. We were taken for $900 two years ago. Glad we did not move forward with this company as this is not the only blog I have read regarding this SCAM today!

I just got called again by these people, but from a different solicitor. I asked if I was going to get a contract before sending in any money. They said yes. They then put me in touch with a closer. That person said that my offer is for $32, 500 (way way over priced by 6 fold) and that they will lower closing costs (to be reimbursed) to $2000. Said the written contract only is only for me, not a buyer, even though they have a buyer for my property. They couldn't even describe what my property has. Points, right-to-use, complete ownership, red, ?. But they have a buyer for $32, 500? Bull. This is a come-on people. They will send you a contract that is nothing more than a contract to advertise the property. Read it closely, no matter what they say, because if you sue them for fraud, the court can ONLY base a decision on what is in writing.

It is odd that the only two people that have had sales "praise the Lord". I am a believer, but hmmmmmm. If this company is for real, why won't the salesman call me back with a business license that they are registered in Nevada? Why did they say they rent 6 floors of a high rise, when the address they use is a Mail Box store? Or are they really in Orlando, where their faxes are sent from and that phone number is attached to a name "Timeshare Center", which also is a vacant address. There are too many open issues and Blue Scape Timeshare only will send things via fax, not mail. Why? Because then it is interstate fraud.. All I ask is for a written explaination of what the $1800 is for. Not a verbal explaination, but written. Real Estate agents, etc, give good faith estimates, why won't they? And this last person posting "Lynn Wylde" is not listed anywhere in Orlando on any search I can find and is curiously in Orlando. I am a believer in my God, but not of people that won't put ANYTHING in writing. Show me and I will believe, but I only have faith in my God, not Blue Scape.

Like many of you when I did my due diligence I too found the vegas number to be from a cell, however, I had already sent in my certified funds for escrow. Fortunately for me, I did not have the same experience you seem to be going through. True, the closing date was pushed back nearly 2 weeks, my property is now sold, and I received my certified check at my door as promised. Did any of you actually get ripped off by these people, or did it sound too good to be true, and you just never went through with the transaction? No complaints here..and no more maintenance fees either. Praise the Lord!

I just determined that the address that Blue Scape Timeshares uses, is a Mail Depot. They do not have a physical address in this building in Las Vegas. Clark County has no records of them. They are probably working from Orlando, Florida and have a Las Vegas phone number and address to hide the scam. There faxes are sent from Orlando. I was promised a business license, but they have not called me.

1 day after receiving their contract, I was called by a sales person (not agent). I told him that he orginally told me that the $1800 fee was for processing and escrow (we know you don't pay salesman for escrow). The contract clearly states in the first line of the small print that "Blue Scape timeshares is an advertising company. The property owner pays a one0time, non-recurring advertising fee...". I told him the $1800 was an advertising fee. He started yelling at me that it is a processing fee. I started reading him the contract and he then started yelling at me that it is a processing fee. I hung up. These sales people from the company are hacks and don't know (or are misleading their pigeons) about what the contract is, once you get it. BEWARE.

RUN don't walk from these people. I am playing along for now, but I also got a call. They say they have a bank (?) offer for $12, 500, which is MORE than they would buy from my timeshare directly, by 2 times. The salesman said it would cost me $1800, which would be given back at closing. I asked if I had to pay advertising fees. he said no. They are escrow fees. He obviously doesn't know what escrow fees are for. They said they are from Las Vegas, but their contract was faxed from Orlando (legal dept?). All addresses given show up as vacant lots on google. Their company is not listed in any business lising anywhere. The contract they sent me, clearly says that the $1800 is an advertising fee. I called back and asked for a manager. I got some white american, who gave me an ARAB name (hmmmmm). I started mentioning these things and he just laughed and said that everyone has their opinions. I think P T Barnum stated "there is a sucker born every minute". Please, don't be one of them.

Agreed, they were trying to pull the same scam on me.
They will work on your greed, said they have multiple buyers in line for my timeshare. I want $10K for my timeshare, first they said they can sell it for 24K and a week later they said they will up another $10K so I will be getting $34K for my timeshare. My timeshare only costs me $24K brand new, and someone would pay me $10K more than buying it from the developer ?
SELLERS BEWARE, never pay someone money upfront to sell your timeshare.
BLUE SCAPE TIMESHARE, YOU ARE BUSTED !

I agree with those who think this place is a scam! I told them I had no money to pay up front, the man I was speaking with told me they needed it as a "good will" gesture and assured me that they had a buyer, actually several buyers who are buying multiple timeshares as they want to come to vacation here in the US and they bring many family members. My gut was telling me to run like heck. I noticed that the person who contacted me first (first name was Montana) suddenly disappeared and I was told that he (Montana) had been fired for saying things that were not true about this company. This man was hesitant to tell me his name. I told him he had all of my info and I at least deserved to know who I was speaking to! He begrudenly said his name was Roy Keane and his number and fax number were on the letter he sent me. The number was - [protected].This man is relentless and very degrading. Give them a call...they certainly don't care what time of day they called me or how many times per day! Idiots! Trust your gut, always!
