On 12/17/2021 a technician came to my home to replace a part on my furnace. When he entered my home I could smell alcohol. I know some cologne has a smell of alcohol. So I give the technician the benefit of the doubt. Hoping that it wasn't what I was thinking. I took him to the location of the furnace. He soon realized that he left a tool at his previous location. Told me that he would be back because he had to buy another tool. Upon his return there was a renewed odor of alcohol. Suspicions was confirmed. He proceeded to work on furnace. The piece he was trying to remove was giving him trouble - difficult to remove. He was manhandling the pipes - being very rough and using the furnace itself as a brace for himself. I was taking pictures as he was working. He finally was able to get one side of the part off. Water started to run everywhere. He stated that the replacement part did not fit. It was the wrong part. "I was wondering how does he know that the replacement part doesn't fit if he never got the whole old part off?" He realized that he was in too deep and decided to put the one side that he took off back on. Had trouble doing that - putting the one side back on. I asked him if he needed help. He replied no. After another five minutes of struggling and manhandling the pipes he said I'm going to need some help. He left. Didn't give me an invoice, receipt or say where he was going. I looked over the furnace and pipes. Notice there was a leak that wasn't there before he started working on furnace. I went outside to see if I could see or catch him to show and tell him about the leak and he was gone. Called the Blue Dot office immediately and reported the problem. Technician came back and apologized. Said he was sorry he left but he just had to get away and regroup - pull himself together. He also tried to fix the leak but could not. My first appointment with Blue Dot was 12/12/2021. As of this date 12/22/2021 still no heat. It has been almost a week. I have not heard from Blue Dot since 12/17/2021. No one called to say I'm sorry for the mishap, we will have this resolved shortly, we will refund your down payment and repair furnace free of charge. No communication from Blue Dot. Very cold and disappointed with Blue Dot Heating & AC.

Desired outcome: Heat repaired, free of charge and down payment refunded.
