The Furniture shop staff promise but never make their promise .
I have bought a sofa from them 1 month ago and is spoilt, just seated for few weeks and have sound everytime when you get up from the sofa. Promise will sent a staff down but never come down always the same old excuse, my people from the warehouse never call you about it always give this old reason.Warranty also so misleading anyone buy from this shop and want to complain about them or who can help me feel that being cheated and their sofa price also far so expensive .

This is the worst furniture shop I have encountered. They are not honest in their price and displayed exorbitant price on their price tag. When you ask them for the price, the price quoted can be half the price on the price tag. I will never buy from this furniture shop again. Wonder if we can complain to CASE about this shop.

Agreed, this company is the biggest cheater in SG. We bought dinning set from them on CNY eve, there is an offer of 1+4 (a table and 4 chairs), at first we hesitated as we are family of 5, the salesman (Randy) offered us a 1+5 but we asked for 1+6 as we wanted an even number of chairs. Randy agreed as he said it's CNY eve and he wanted to close one more order before the end of the year. We happily placed the order, when the logistic department called me to arrange delivery, I'm told it's a 1+4. I checked on the order form, its was also written as 1+4, so I called and spoke with Randy, he remembered us and said he will check, he also promised to call me back. I received a call hours later and talked with someone who identified himself as the showroom manager, he simply told me that there is nothing he could do as it's between us and Randy. I then asked to speak to Randy but was told that he went to the toilet. I called 2 more times but didn't get to speak to him as he was in the toilet again and again. I called the customer service to make a complaint on Randy's avoidance in answering my call, Luke whom claimed to be the company director called the next day after the complaint. From the phone conversation, I knew he wasn't sincere in resolving the issue. I then no choice but to accept the 1+4 as we already placed deposit. I admitted that it's my fault for not checking on the order form but from the way Randy avoided my call made me 100% sure that he did promise the 1+6! I can only said it's my luck to buy from a company that hires salesman but not a man at all! They are all not a 男子汉!

I want to share with you about my experience of
that company.

We visit IMM to select the furnitures for our new flat around Apr'2009, I don't remember the actual date.and ordered a 3+2 sofa, a dunlopillo mattress and a queen size bed frame and a coffe table. the sales man named Alan, quoted us sofa:$2599, matress:$1499, bed frame:$699,
and coffee table $899. We bargained and their manager who called Alvin gave us a overall discount for $4300. and we deposit $2300 that date.

we agreed to pay such price because the Alan said their sofa has 6 years warrantee. and told how excellent their furnitures are, they coffee table is with temper glass top. all the bed fram and coffee table's attached small chair in leather. in fact, the showroom 's pieces seems quite good.

the first delievy around Sep'2009 is the Sofa. when they delivery, my husband found the wooden stick inside one side of the sofa was broken, my husband called them immediately and the man said they can repair it. My husband was angry about their attitude, said, it's very ridiculious that a new sofa has to be repaired when delivered, we are not buying a second hand sofa. and require them to change the whole set. and I called the Beng Hwa according to their invoice telephone no. the staff in the phone told me there is any warrantee in all their furnitures. and all the thing are only between us and sales man. at this moment, I found we may be cheated by this company.

and the next day, my husband and me went to IMM again, find Alvin and Alan again. said we wanted to return goods, because they cheated us. but they reject to do so. and promise it was only an accident, and what the Beng Hwa staff told me not true, they can even gave us all our furnitures 6 years warrante.Considering we already deposit $2300, and they surely won't refund us, we agree that they changed our sofa.but when they chase our rest payment, we know we should very careful about them, so we said must wait until everything is ok.

the next problem is Bedframe and coffee table. the first delivery of the bedframe is not the size as we request, for our mattress is 10mm. so the bedframe should be customize it height to mattress, otherwise there is a gap between the mattress and and headrest, and this is included in the invoice description.But they deliver us the wrong size. when they change the bedframe, we found it's a horrible one, the cotton inside the leather was like a lot of big lumps filled in the 3 sides of bedframe. I immediately called them to change the rubbish-like frame. and they delayed 1 month to do it. actully I found them only re-smooth the cotton, giving us the same bedframe.

our coffee table is with four small leather chairs, when we get the coffee table, we found the table is a little shaking because the leg is not balance, and one chair also get broken wooden stick inside the leather, and abviously can be touched. we are very tired all this rubbish things, and totally cheated by such a bad company. at that time, we were busy at renovation, buying other furnitures, both of me and my husband are working people, we don't have so much time to argue with them. just demand them to change again. and during these time. their sales man chase us the rest money. when all the things are there, we agreed to pay $1000, and another $1000 should wait the 6 years warrantee documents.

days later, I went with my friends to Malaysia, and suddently spotted a coffee table which is as exact as mine, and the sales man only quoted me 600RM, and told me the top of the coffee table is normal glass. I cannot believe my ears!
and the Mr Decor 's manage called Alvin sent a person to our home, giving us a copy a so call warrants doc, only serveral letters on the paper, say warrant our 4 pieces for 6 years, no details there, and he himself signed it, even it's not original one. like draft paper. I finially burst my anger to shouted in the phone at Alvin. We rejected to pay the rest $1000, unless they agreed to take back all their rubbishes!

then they never call back to me, but one salesman once called my husband to repay money, my husband told him just take back their rubbishes.

In early 2011 another man visited us, said he was new boss of Beng Hwa, we required to talk to Alvin, but he said Alvin resigned. we are too tired of dealing with these cheating bugs.I only asked him one question: do you think the coffee table thet you see in front of you is a temper glass one?
When he said yes, it's a temper glass one. then we told him. our only demand now is to return all the rubbishes.

This is our experience of with Mr Decor, when I read this forum, I really wanted to share my experience of such disgusting cheaters. but I didn't registered, so cannot post my story there.

You know, when your joyful mood of moving into a new flat was ruined by these cheater bugs, you can imagine how much I hate them!
