BellSouth / TTI National, Inc. / USBI — Wrong bill
We moved from port orange, fl. 32129 to daytona beach, fl. 32117 in june of o6. We notified bell south of the move, but we couldn't keep our same phone no.
We assumed that bell so. Would notify tti of our move, wrong, our next bill, with long distance was with world com, [usbt] for $215.57. I called tti and they told me they would credit our account, within the next couple billing periods.
After waiting several months i called bell so., they informed me that they never received any conformation. I then called tti and they said the long distance bill was handled through usbt and that they had requested credit on the bell so. Bill.
After several billing periods i called usbi and they said the never got the request from tti. I called tti, they said the request was made on july 25, 06. I called usbi back, they said they would check it out and call me with in 30 days. I got no call. I called them again and they said they had credited me for $35.05, and i would hear from a supervisor, never happened.
I called bell so. The person said that they probably trying to appease me with the $35, and hoping i would forget it.
I believe this to be a bad, unlawful way to handle this problem and i should have been credited the full amount.
