Joshua James Baerman is committing fraud in the St. Charles, St. Louis and West County areas by going around and asking homeowners for deposits on construction work and not doing the work. He is now wanted for questioning by several police departments and is exceptionally deceitful.

BE WARNED: he is very cunning and knows how to con people into doing what he wants. He requests checks to be written to him and then cashes them at your bank. To date he has taken over $7000 from 2 homeowners but our fear is that there may be more. You are urged to contact your local police department if you have been in contact with this person.

To whom it may concern,
Josh Baerman was sub-contracted to do a couple maintenance repair jobs for Gundaker Construction and Restoration Group from late August 2013 to early November 2013 but never managed any projects, nor personally sold any services on behalf of Gundaker Construction and Restoration Group. Gundaker Construction and Restoration Group parted ways with Josh after allegations that he took money and never completed the work at his PREVIOUS company. At Gundaker Construction and Restoration Group we hold ourselves to the highest standards in the industry, our company was founded on the basic principles of trust, honesty, and reliability. Top-tier customer service, and building strong relationships with our clients with always be our number one priority. Even if a dispute is successful, which it will normally be since none of the leads are actually real, you only receive your funds back as credit for more fake leads, never for your actual money back. The also have an auto-refill option on your account that you have to call in to get taken off your account, otherwise they will automatically draft at least $300 from your account as quickly as they can run your account dry. This is a scam, these people should be in prison for fraud.

From what we have gathered, Joshua James Baerman was an independent contractor for Bolt Restoration in St. Louis, Missouri up until July 2013. He applied for an open Project Manager position with Gundaker Construction and Restoration Group in St. Louis, Missouri in August 2013 and was brought on as an INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR. Prior to being brought on as an independent contractor, a background check was run by Gundaker Construction on Joshua and there were no red flags at that time. After Gundaker Construction received a call from a concerned individual saying she paid Joshua several thousand dollars to complete work, that he never completed Gundaker Construction sent this listing on complaintsboard.com. Gundaker Construction was very concerned and called Bolt Restoration and learned he was terminated for stealing several thousand dollars. Gundaker Construction was instructed to call St. Louis County Police and they terminated him immediately. To date there are several clients Josh took deposits from and did not complete the work with Bolt and Gundaker which both companies have and or are working to finish the jobs on their own dime. It is highly suggested that you call St. Louis County Police at [protected] if you come in contact with this person, and do not give him any money. He is currently wanted by police.
