At Home Store Supervisor review: Heather (supervisor)

On saturday, may 14, 2022, I came to work as a normal day just the weekends because I worl full time mon-fri. So I help them out when I can. Anyways I arrived to work at 9am being the only cash register there when everyone else called off. Things were fine until heather came in on her shift. She walked up front and asked me if I had xonify today and I told her no I was the only one here this morning. So I left from ringing up customers and went to the back. I only had a test to take and that was it. She called over the radio and asked how long was I going to be and I told her i'll be done in a few. At that time my foot started hurting for some unknown reason and I began to start leaping walking back up to finish out the day. As soon I arrived back to ring up customers, heather told me to put a cart full of items away when she wasn't doing anytin but ordering people around. I told something is wrong with my foot and I can't walk the store putting things away when i've never have done before so I wouldnt know where anything goes being that I have always just rung up customers. Heather then said, in front of all customer and employees "just go home" I was going to finish my shift as a cash register employee and I had only two more hours til my shift ended. She had an atitude which she always does with me and I left. I then tried calling and she didnt answer so I texted with the mobile. " you seem to always have an attitiude with me! very unprofessional sending me home when I could of finished my shift. Consider this smy last day! you need to adjust your attitude and how you speak with people and employees. As I left I was hopping to my car and proceeded to the er. As I arrived I could get out of car... So they brought me a wheel chair. My foot was swollen and had to get xrays and ultrasound. Needless to say I had to be on crutches and a boot for my foot.

I like working at the store because its flexible with my long hours as a hr admin person. I been in retail for years through my career and to be spoken to as such is not right. This is not the first time she has done this to me. The first time I let it slide because im a christian and I act accordinally to how people treat me.

At home need to train their supervisors using and abrusiing their authority. She is very unprofessional and she talk to people like were kids and if I dont recall her kids dont work for at home store. I am adult over 50 and I will not let no one speak to me as such. If this continues I will be forced to other wise legally.

Called karen monday morning about 8:30am before the store opened and spoke to her about this situation that has been accurring since I have been working for them.

She advised me that she left a note and she will be speaking to heather about this matter. Karen also mentioned that she dont ant to me leave but its up to me.
