6/11/2015 a young man come to me while I was mowing and said his dad's company "Asphalt Paving" was doing work in my neighborhood and had leftover from another job and could do my driveway for "half price". His father "John Mesker" came and talked to me and sold me on the driveway. We agreed on a set price and he told me he estimated it would be a max of 3000 sq/ft. After it was done he doubled the price and claimed they measured 4500 sq/ft and demanded I pay in cash immediately.
Less than two months later the driveway began to crack and fall apart. All attempts to contact Mesker have ended in him making excuses and empty promises. just over a year later now and I have chunks coming up out of the driveway exposing that he had his crew lay less than 1/2" of material in most of the driveway instead of the guaranteed 3-5" it should have been.
I've filed complaints with the BBB and attorney general in KS, MO, and TX. It appears he has a track record or traveling the country and scamming people out of their hard earned money. If anyone has any experience with this crew or this man please post it here.
We have information on john mesker, my boyfriend worked for him and was not told that the company was not legit and was threatened with his job several times and to be put on the street with me being six months pregnant, after he made us move to another city and change our entire plan. We have recently found that he has scammed clients for years and are willing to give any information away after being lied to and treated very horribly because of our situation.
