This self proclaimed big shot hails from Borat's homeland of Kazakhstan. Askar Karabayev claims to be a brother of Kazakhstan's prime minister or speaker of Kazakh Parlaiment. He claims to be an oil tycoon and a developer. The fact is that he is that he built about 20 homes in Newport Coast over the last 15 years, and had a few failed real estate projects. The financial crisis caught him with his pants down, and like many developers he lost virtually all his projects. He does have ties to some government official, but seems to make up stories and inflate facts to the point where he has no credibility with people that get to know him. Ultimately, Askar Karabayev is a small time Soviet style hustler with a huge ego. I bought a home from him about 5 years ago, and the quality was not there. When I asked Karabayev to address some of the construction deficiencies, some of which were structural, he suddenly pretended not to speak English, and began to ignore my calls. I did some research into his background. Karabayev is shady. He is sued by multiple people and companies. Most real estate professionals in Newport Coast won't work with him. Now he seems broke, but still has enough to show off. He is involved in some oil and gas businesses in Kazakhstan, and tried to get me involved. I would not do anything with this slimeball.

He changed his name: Askar Karabayev is now Askari Murza. Cannot come back to US - IRS and FBI on his tail. Son Yebar Askar runs the remains of the real estate sales project in Texas with Naumi Voloshin, who put up a whole bunch of fake sites to push down the crap people posted about his penny stock deals. Nice.

Askar Karabayev now escaped back to Boratland aka Kazakhstan. He got bored shaming other Kazakhs and Muslims in US, and is probably being chased by creditors. This guy destroyed every business he ever got into. The guy is a fraud just ask his real estate agent Marci W who knew him for 15 years.

you must be related to Askar Karabayev the Kazakhstani troll ... he is returning to the caves where he came from. Dzhakishev and Kabykenova are next. Enough money launderers here in US. Go to switzerland.

He is rich, we are poor, we wanna eat! We can fix his reputation, if he doesn't wanna do it, we will post some more BS here! English language? Who cares? We speak troll language good! You are idiots, feed us and survive, otherwise have fun!

Defamation occurs when statements are not true. based on my experience, many of the posts contain a great deal of accurate information. Askar Karabayev sold a house to me some years ago. I would not buy a house from him again, nor would I deal with him again in business or socially. Draw your own conclusions.

These are all clearly attempts of defamation and I will stop commenting back because this is not worth my time the only reason why I put up a comment is because you guys have the wrong image of him and if you really knew who he was you wouldnt be saying this and clearly you dont know him or you maybe never even worked for him all your doing is research and going with whatever you find on line I strongly disagree with the comment you put about him beating his wife and kids I have never met a more loving family man and all his kids are really good people and his wife especially. Like I said I personally know him and he is the total opposite of what all these comments are saying about him.

"Who Care" you are clearly eithe a complete idiot, Karabayev, an idiot who does not know Karabayev or an idiot who knows Karabayev too well. Which is it? I worked for Karabayev Askar for 2 years. Although lawsuits do not mean much in general because anyone can sue for any reason, Karabayev and fake, uncapitalized LLCs he set up are defending close to 10 lawsuits from people that bought the homes he built to banks that loanded him money. This pattern shows that where there is smoke, there is fire. The reason you and others should care is because Askar Karabayev is a sociopath that beats his wife and his children, launders money for Kazakh government officials (Aslan Mussin), cheats banks and other creditors, his business partners, IRS, Kazakhstan authorities, and his former employees. He does not have any employees now. The Internet is full of complaints from people that he screwed. I am also a victim of this person's lies. He gives Kazakhstan a bad name, and should be sent back.

Askar Karabayev is a fake. He moved to USA in 94 with stolen money from some energy trades with local Kazakhstan officials in Almaty. He lost his ### in real estate, but was not operating with his own money. Now he owes to Kazakhstan investors and is in a fight with another criminal, Yerkin Bektayev. His connections in Kazakhstan are bogus as well.

This guy claims to be cousins with powerful Aslan Mussin from Kazakhstan. He invokes Aslan's name every chance he gets... Aslan's younger son and daughter visit him, but he is broke and owes money to some shady lads in KZ and to Adilzhan Dzhakishev whose father is a dethroned judge in KZ. Pretty grim stuff.

This guy Karabayev is a phony. He works with a side-kick Naum Voloshin, a Russian self-proclaimed playboy who drives a Lambo and raises money for Karabayev's flunkie real estate projects in Texas and LA. I think they all went under like the post says. Both of these Voloshin and Karabayev are shady promoters - at best. At worst, I dont even want to guess. Voloshin told me he raises money from Russians and Armenians in Russia. Good luck with that. I dont know how any serious, educated person could spend even one minute with this West Hollywood reject. Just seeing him in his oversized cap, melrose jeans, and idiotic car flanked by some foreign auper or hooker (pbly barely 18) whatever. Voloshin and Karabayev pitched me on several deals, but I smelled a scam, and go away from them. I think both of them have their fair share of litigation to deal with...
