My nightmare started on 02/28/2022.

I was looking to purchase a full-size bedroom set for my granddaughter, my first Red Flag should have been the fact it took me 4b hours to do this. I called and called and called some more. I was told "I don't know" many times by female and male employees at Ashley Furniture. It was a total Nightmare. I finally got a young lady who knew what the problem was, I was using my iPad. Ashely's website is not user friendly with Apple Products, so I then got my lap-Top out, finally was able to complete my order.

I was hoping to find someone to assemble the furniture, Ashley Furnitures 2nd party, "Handy" is Very expensive, but I found no one, so I called back and was given a price to assemble bedroom set, I've Never brought furniture that was delivered in boxes. I thought some pieces would arrive pre-assembled, there was nothing, just a bunch of "fake wooden planks" The "Pro" they sent over arrived put the furniture together and he realized there was no headboard, I called Ashley (that was another hour log call) they said the headboard would arrive the next day, and I had to get in contact with "Handy" again to see when and if they could come out. They began emailing me stating the "Pro" that came out said he was at my home longer that 2hrs assembling the set, they needed me to verify he was here so they could pay him for the extra 1 1/2, which I was only Happy to do so. We took care of that, they then told me I'd have to pay another $116.00 to have someone come back to my home to put the headboard together and attach it to the bed. I explained to him I had already paid to have this done, its just that the headboard hadn't arrived, we went back and forth for a couple of days, You cant contact them by phone, everything's email only. They finally sent me an email offering me a 10% discount $11? I stated wow, $11 really, I had an appointment the "Pro" never showed, never called X2. I canceled the $116, I received my money back for the first time he didn't. Well they did charge me, show I was told I would not be charged, just submit an order. Thats when they stated I would be charged $108 including the 10% off, I had names of who I had emailed regarding no charges, I emailed them, to this day 03/17 they have not answered my emails. I had an appointment for Today, Tburs. 03/17. a young lady called and stated they should not have sched. this appointment as she was booked till Sun., she would keep my appointment date for Thurs., someone else might "pick it up", bow that was Tues 03/15, I immediately stated receiving names of contractors willing to pick up my order. I called a few of them, some wanted more than Ashely was charging. The young lady that called me initially called back and said she had a cancellation for Today 02/16 Wed, she came over, opened the box the mirror came in, there was not a screw in the box. I went to Home Depo with the instructions, the instructions sucked, they did not describe the length of the screws, nut, brackets, I was told they just didn't know what size to give me, I called Ashley back again, and was told she didn't know either, I asked her couldn't she send me the screw pack, she stated no. I went home and called Ashely Furniture again, and got this wonderful person, I told her I was done with Ashley Stores, I told her I wanted to cancel my whole order, she asked if I had the original boxes, I told her no, the furniture has been assembled, she gave me the name of a website Donationtown.org she states they'll pick the furniture up, give me a voucher, I'm to contact her and she'd get me a full refund, including installation charges back into my pocket. I know that's not going to happen, Nothing happens that smoothly with Ashley Furniture. I It may take 2 weeks for me to get it, then I have to contact the lady back, see when she could come out and out it together. The nightmare goes on and on, and on. What's. Thats sooo Not going tyo so ironic is that I like the furniture, I was considering ordering her another nightstand... Thats sooi not going to happen. I feel like I have been treated Horribly by Ashley Furtiture employees, they made sure the gentlemen got paid for the 1 1/2 hrs he was at my home, and then turned around and charged me $104 to have the mirror assembled and installed, and I already paid to have this done. The price I was given was for the bedroom set, how is it my fault the mirror didn't come until the next day? Please, Please whoever is doing the hiring, be careful, be very careful during your hiring process, so you hire caring people, who are willing to go thew extra mile for your customers. This whole ordeal, I only found 1 person who did this. If Ashely would take the furniture back, or even offer me some kind of consolation, understanding, Anythingg I'd appreciated hearing from someone, In the meantime I sit and wait Another 2 weeks for the screw pack to come. It hurnts me to say this, but, either way I plan to close my account with Ashley Furniture, You will never hear my name again..

Desired outcome: Compensation for being treated so horribly.

People, Be Very Careful when purchasing from Ashley Furniture. When they say it needs to be assembled, that's exactly what they mean, You'll get your items in box, boxes and more boxes. Have someone in mind to assemble and attach things like mirrors etc. Do not use the "Handy" service provied by Ashley, they are Very, Very expensive, they'll send 1 person out to a large amount of work, give them 2 hr to complete, he;s at your house 31/2, he wanted to get paid, I had to clear it so he would get paid, They emailed me for information as to was he actually here that long. (Amazing) Then turn around and charged me again for assemble the mirror and install it. Nightmare @Ashley Furniture
