We hired the American Moving Solution for our long distance move from ABQ, NM to Huntsville, AL in 8/2022 after serching for good reputal long distance mover. On the web sight, it was rated 4.8/5 with all the positive reviews. When it was contacted on /03/22. On phone call I was told that the total cost will be $7702 then $600 d/c will be given due to it's USACE move. But after est. binding contract was signed total cost will be $7,702.00 includes all taxes & fees, fuel, 30 days free storage and told to pay $2200 deposit then pay 50% on pickup, remaining outher 50% on delivery. We paid $2200 with credit card on 8/03/22 for moving date on Fri 8/19/22. Few days later, a customer carew rep called to confirm moving inventory, pickup/deliverty address, total cost... but he was saying that the total cost was $8302.00? Because there's price different, I had callback the first csr to find out why price diff? I was told that she have to listen to recording of the phone calls and will get back because no supervisor on site to get to the recording. Waited until next Monday then I called back and was told that her and the company owner listen to the recording and since there's misunderstanding, he is authouizing $600 QA credit on pickup. On moving date, Fri, 8/19/22. by 12 noon no movers/truck showed and no calls from anybody. I called the AMS and was told that our move was not scheduled but it's not until 8/25/22 almost a week later? This was after multiple confirmations on moving dates and inventory and just another confirmation on Wed 8/17/22 w/Jenette, QA rep who chaged and demanded for another $799.11 stating that she is giving $1100 credit and if she dosen't get additional $799.11, the moving will be cancelled. So I paid this with debit card as we have to be in AL for the job transfer.

American Moving Solution is not a moving company but is a broker and failed to contracted the movers/truck for our move on Fri 8/19/22. Futhermore, they didn't even bother to call or show up for the job. And they will not even giveback the $3000 deposit refund to us when they failed to lined up for the truck and the movers. They are only offering? to give us credit for our future move within next 12months? What a thief and tyranny! Why do they think anyone will call them back after this nightmare? Woulld anyone call back this company who can't even bother to show up for the job? Who needs credit when they lost all their credbilities? I had to call the bank for diuspute $2200 which the citibank repaid this company after given temp credit because American Moving Solution made a challanged and Credit union for $799.11 dispute is still pending. How's that's even possible when this company didn't fullfield their contract by faild to show up for the moving services they promissed? The American Moving Solution USDOT #3583108 MC-1210997 should not be in services to take advantages of people. Highly unettical, unprofessional but down right robbery! Please take a look at the file for Job #7318420 --job was not fulfilled as the carrier didn't have a truck and wasn't available until 8/22 or the 24th move was scheduled for the 19th and 20th --carrier let us know they couldn't handle the dates. This was not acceptable to the client as they were leaving town, the client wrote in requesting full refund and got an email back stating the deposit could be used at a later time, which now seems very improbable due to the experience and needs the refund --or will write the BBB and post everywhere. ---
