Aiken SC County Solicitor review: Public corruption

For many years, I've tried to report crimes to this office, headed by County Solicitor Bill Weeks, previously led by Strom Thurmond Jr. (!), that local law enforcement refused to investigate or prosecute. Aiken County is ruled by a very corrupt inner circle of MAGA extremists, including elected officials and both City and County Councils, most of whom are white collar criminals. They protect each other, are protected by local L.E. and SLED, and the Solicitor's Office acts as a bottle stop to make sure none of the crime reports leave the County. It is clearly driven by bribery and Influence Peddling. They do not acknowledge federal law or the Constitution/Civil Rights. They are secretive and dishonest about government business.

This office freely prosecutes Blacks and the poor, but allows wealthy whites, IF THEY ARE GOP, to get away with crimes ranging from Money Laundering, Public Corruption, Tax Fraud, Theft of Public Funds, Campaign Fraud, Extortion, Criminal Threats, and more, as long as you pledge allegiance to Donald Trump.

I urge anyone thinking of retiring here to find someplace honest and ethical instead. I hear Maine is nice.
