I am a senior and a retired veteran. I have a medical prescription for CPAP and supplies. These supplies are paid for by my Medicare and/or my Tricare. Aerocare has been my provider. They call me every 90 days badgering me to order supplies because Medicare covers it and recommends it. That in itself is annoying but not the issue, although they get highly offended and very aggravated because I will not order supplies on their schedule as I have a SoClean system to extend my products lifespan.

That is the history. Now to the real issue. On or about December 29, 2022 Aerocare attempted a charge to my credit card in the amount of $135.47. I neither ordered anything from Aerocare nor did I authorize them to use my credit card. I may be wrong, but I believe this constitutes credit card fraud. When I attempted to talk to a manager, the office worker put me on hold and then came back a few minutes later telling me the manager was working from home and the only way to contact her was by email. I told the office worker to have her call me about the situation and mentioned the credit card fraud. Fortunately for me, the credit card Aerocare attempted to charge was no longer an active card, so I did not lose money.

I have recently been referred to Areocare in Mt Airy NC for my CPAP and supplies. They have the worse customer service of any place I have ever done business with. First they took down the wrong information and used a address and phone number that I haven’t had in ten years. Secondly after weeks of delays they rescheduled my appointment one hour before it was due. They have a care less attitude about their customers so avoid them like the plague.

Aerocare order department is absolutely terrible. Everyone I need a hose they argue with me. Then I end up having to agree to the wrong hose so that I can call another department to report it doesn't fit my machine. Then they send the right hose and I have to return the wrong hose. This is ridiculous. I shouldn't have to this EVERYTIME! get your [censored] together.

Horrible customer service!

It's no wonder that this company has such poor reviews! My doctor placed an order for a wheelchair and a quad cane from AeroCare several weeks ago. Last week I called AeroCare to find out the status of my order. I was told by a customer service rep that the order was not being processed because my doctor "did not fill out the form correctly". I asked the rep how come no one from their office alerted me or my doctor to get this issue resolved. The rep responded that "someone should have called you". I asked the rep to please resend the form to my doctor and she said that she would. On yesterday I called AeroCare again to find out the status of my order. The rep advised me that they had received the corrected form back from my doctor but that the order was not being processed. They rep did not know why and said that she was going to send a message to her supervisor to call me and of course the supervisor never called.

I understand that Aerocare is calling you every 90 days to order supplies, which is annoying and inconvenient. I sympathize with the frustration this causes. It may help to explain to Aerocare that you are using a SoClean system, which is a way to extend the life of your supplies, so you do not need to order them as frequently. If they still persist in their calls, you may wish to consider looking for another provider who will respect your wishes.
