This school says they are accredited, sure they are but not through the right accreditation for one to get into college or the military. I have been fighting this school for over a year now to get a refund on my sons Diploma. WE have tried over 12 colleges and even the military and no one will accept his diploma. When I call Addison they say well the colleges did not call us nor did the military. Addison High School is a paper mill. They want you to take a test, pay for it then you get a fake diploma in return. The told me months ago they would refund my money, but has to be to the same credit card I had, in which I don't due to it being stolen and stopped. I have a new one through the same bank and they refuse to put the money back on my new card. They call and harass me because I have reported them to the BBB and had lawyers on their butts. They ruined my sons chances at getting into college or even the military, unless he wants to start all over again, which is bull crap. This school is a scam you never get the right address or anything. I even received and email from them stating they would refund my money within 48 hours to my new card. Then I get a email from the so called President of the school telling me the email about my refund was sent by mistake. Go figure that one! Beware of this school and their scams, they take your money and you get nothing but a bunch of worthless documents in return.

There is a difference between getting a GED through Addison because a GED is a bona fide high school diploma. However, the $300 (or whatever they are charging now) diploma where you just take a short test over the telephone does not qualify as a high school diploma. Common sense would tell you this. I think the Addison Online diploma can be used to go to Community College. When one of my students got this diploma, it was run through the legal department of a major studio. The legal department said, in California, it was acceptable. Don't know about other states. Alternatives are the C.H.E.S.P.E. which is given in the second half of 10th grade. This is not a high school diploma but allows students to attend community college. Only high school diploma equivalent is the GED.
So how do I go about paying to take this test and getting these fake documents? Plant and company employers don't give a damn if they are fake or not. It's a genius loophole for those who have been failed by the public school system to gain employment. Local employers don't give a crap about authenticity of high school accreditation. They just need these genius fake documents to file at the human resource offices so local employers can go about hiring real life skilled workers and employees who have been failed by our public school systems. Who the hell wants to go into the military? People want to work, not die.

I paid $400 for mine and since it is not accredited like they falsely advertise I cant go to college. I have to get my ged if I want to get a pell grant. devry university did their darndest to help me get into their college with the diploma and because they are only an online no physical address I could not even do an online college. no votech like computer career centers of elpaso tx would take it either. its no good. I wish their was a way we could get a class action group law suit on them for false advertisement and get our money back.

Yes this school is a scam, it is not accredited and no matter where you take their Diploma no one accepts it. And on top of that now they are sending text messages saying someone is request information about your diploma to call them back and when you call back they are asking for a $250 fee to active and register your diploma with the accredited list. They just full of BS. Do not fall in their scam this school is not a real school. And I as well will take them to court and have my lawyer follow up on this.
i tried to apply for college took all the steps passed ready to start school and when i presented the fake addison diploma the wouldnt except it the showed me a list of all the fake diplomas addison was number 1 and it crushed all my dreams to become something in my life i wont stop till there [censor] or locked up for fraud and with that being said i went in got my g.e.d. And iam now taking up criminal justice
i have filed my complaint about adison highschool with the BBB and to the Education Service Provider. the Education Service Provider as you all know was the company that billed all of us who like me were foolish enough to fall for this scam. my plan is to take down this so called accredited company and get a refund for not just me, but everyone who has been ripped off by this con artist.
