The ownwer of A C Heating and Air, Frank Folio, installed a geothermal heating system in my new home that is not working properly. He won't answer Phone calls from me unless I call from A number tha he doesn't recognize. Tells me he will come out on a certian day and never shows and never calls. He was very punctial when he bid the install and came to my home when he said he would to pick-up the down-payment! He put me off so long installing the ductwork that it had to be installed on the bacement ceiling (it should have been placed in the 24" floor trusses) that cost me $$$$ to get a bulkehead built around it. Pipes leaked when the water was turned on to the house. There are cold spots in the home because he didn't install vents where he shoul have. There are more problem to numerous to list! Please choose anyone else but this guy for your heating and air needs.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I have known Frank Folio for five plus years and I find that all his work is done properly and in a timely manner that he sets forth. After research and pricing/bids of different companies in the surrounding areas I found his price to be fair and reasonable. For a fact: he is one of the biggest installers and/or dealers for geothermal in West Virginia and I find that odd that you have all these complaints and you are the only one out of hundreds! So therefore I presume that it would be that you had to blame someone for the poor construction of your house other than yourself and you lashed out on him. Anytime that I need a service call and /or change out he is prompt and always answers my phone calls and if not he is always quick to return a call. You state that he put you off for so long that the duct had to be installed on the basement ceiling instead of the 24" floor trusses? Here is my question to you...Why didn't you have them installed on the floor trusses? Obviously there had to be a reason for him to install them on the basement ceiling! Did you have pipes(other than geothermal) that were leaking from an installation from yourself or your home contractor? Who was your home contractor or was it you and if it was you what certification do you have? I have known Frank to install anything with a system anywhere per the costumers request unless the placement cannot work because of a reasonable cause! You know there is ALWAYS two sides to every story and I believe that your side is wrong! I believe that you are one of these people that if you call someone you expect an immediate reaction and if not you would complain to the degree of cursing. I would and will always recommend A/C Heating and Air Conditioning to all the great people of West Virginia and/or surrounding states! God Bless!
