This company scammed me, I ordered a custome webdesign with extra functionlity, I was charged $2, 899.00. They wanted a 3rd up front which they ran off with with out doing any work. I was unable to reach Karim Djaballh the owner/ project manager and many attempts. I filed a claim with paypal with no luck due to there policy (they do not protect service purchased). I have began to filed complaints after 1month of waiting on a response. Now that I have reported this place they contact me threatening to sue me If I do not mail a money order in the amount of $3, 100.00+ and trying to scam me again.
Thank you for the info, I just did. This place is sending me $3000 Bills, and unwanted emails. They will not stop whn asked to.

This place did not respond to BBB, or the cc company with proof of services that they are claiming to have done. Today The project manager called me several times late evening with a blocked number yelling and screaming cursing telling me to give him $3000. He has also obtained my address somehow. They are trying to bully me into paying them for absolutely nothing.
* Becareful of using paypal when purchasing a -service- they do not protect buyers. Many places are taking advantage of paypal for that very reason.
The purpose of posting a complaint and/ or reveiw on the internet is to help warn and protect other consumers from being scammed by fraudulent companies/people. I am sure all of the above comments made by 499websites above shows how un- professional this company really is. It is very obvious that the back to back comments and fake profiles are from the same source. Typical tactics from pro scammers, liers, rip offs. Web-design website development scams are very common and profitable for theifts, every business needs a website these days. Credit card and Banks have guidlines for time frames to do chargebacks. ave is 30 dYs after payment, most websites take much longer then 30 days. Paypal does not protect consumers whn purchasing a service, scammers take advantage of that. The more incormed consumers are the better they can protect their money.
Update for all consumers : I have reported this scam and harassment from Karim Djaballah "owner project manager " 499websites, 360 network services inc. to authorities, I was also informed recently that this place is attempting to copycat HIT web design Aka heritage web design.
@ Deezil yes I have documented and taken steps to handle everything. This 499website place has stalked, lied, harassed, slandered, and act in a very un professional and disturbing manner. I am sure that their business has folded already being that there's so much time on their hands to play these games. Looks like that company was done before they even started. I will be consulting with a lawyer, AND i will be reporting the continued harassment again! They have violated the order several times. If they would have shown proof of the supposed work done to Me, Pay pal, cc company and BBB there would not b an issue.

I just looked up lane computers, if that is in fact the correct website imo it look like a free do it your self site. 499websites claim to have pro designers, this is not what people are looking to have after spending $100s- $1000s on a website. Get your skills up or stop claiming to have them. I'm actually surprised to see that they actually produced a website at all. 499websites.com has a Cookie cutter site, it speaks for itself. If I would have known that this was the companies website before doing business, I would have NEVER done business with Karim Djaballah aka 499websites.com aka 360network services. This place is a complete scam. They will steal your money, they will harass you and use scare tactics to try making you give them more money! They will try tricking you into believing it some how is your fault that they are incompetent. DONT FALL for the SCAM! Fight for your money back! I got a FULL REFUND back! Karim himself Returned a portion of the money, the rest had to be Charged back after 499websites( Karim )did not show or respond to request for documentation that my cc company sent to pay-pal! Eventually pay-pal will band if complaints continue. FYI Beware of businesses using pay-pal for services! You will not be protected under their policy! Do NOT send them money orders, cashiers checks by mail! you will never get the website/service or your money back. They will try tricking you into sending money by mail for them to "continue" to do the work if u raise an issue. Karim Djaballah - 360 Network services inc -499websites.com lied, stole, harassed, attempted to scam me out off $2800, then again out of $3000. Report this to creditors to protect yourself and other consumers from having false debt placed on you credit report.!This place is good at what they do... Scamming! They have even tricked other invoice companies into believing they are legit! The authorities had to contact this invoice company as they were going to end up being charged with harassment dealing with 499websites as well. If this company has scammed you, stole your money, didnt produce a website or service that you purchased! Report get your money back! Report them to FTC, BBB, Attrny General, Police and Let other consumers know! Dont waste time with them, dont believe their lies and excuses they use to prolong time so its too late to dispute.

By the way.. their toll free number does not make them real. These numbers can be purchased and used on your own personal cell phone! One time I called them from another phone number because They would not answer or return my calls or emails.:. of course Karim answered and stuttered in surprise that he would call me right back as said he was at a doctors apt. It was very loud in the back ground as if he was on the road. I dont even believe this is a business. I thinks its just him pretending to have a team of people that will email you from different (departments). Maybe has a partner to assist jere and there who knows. All that I know is this place is set up to appear real.
Dear i visited the site 499rupees.com and found one interesting coupon for paytm but when i applied the same. It says the coupon is expired. Pls take my complaint for this site

Also you don't sound like you a real real client of ours because we never take full payment up front unless it is a very low budget website around $100. In that case will never quote you 5 weeks to deliver a very low budget website. It is few days project.

Karim from customer service gave me an estimated time frame of 5 weeks beta version It has been 7 weeks now. I do not know what my options are please Help. For whoever cares, check http://www.manta.com/c/mm3rk6t/lane-computers you will find that the owner of Lane Computers in Houston is Paul Lane. It is the same address as the one on the website. Same phone number. Someone needs to tell his clients how he is scamming people.

Jazlyn is Being honest, Karim has done the same to me. People that don't understand the way designing a website works can easily be duked into thinging it was their responsiblity for not providing enough content. Karim tried the same with me, and it worked for a while. I spent more time trying to build my own website than their designers. You have got to be kidding me. These guys know they can get away with it if no one follows suit. I will take legal action, I'm sure there is a lot of this type of scam going on.
I just got Riped of by 499websites with Karim Djaballah. He took my half down payment then gave me the run around. The quality was nothing close to professional. As a technical person myself, I know he has many customers with half done websites that he has been able to successfully blame them for the reason why their site is not completed, by convincing them that they are not giving enough information. An Adult Worker (being respectful not to use a bad word) scammed some business then she comes to this site and plays the victim. On my GOD this a perfect story for a TV Show.

Hey 499 Websites don't feel bad and move on. Jazlyn story doesn't add up. The title should be web designers be aware of jazlyn - he or she will scam you.
Customers like this one did it to me few times. I do the work (I mean the work and everything: design and scripting) and they bail out on me and leave me holding the bag financially. Do better screening of your customers and don't take any customer just because you think that they may be able to pay. And have payment terms that work in your favor.

499Websites.com is reputable Web Design/Development company. We have clients ranging from Attorneys to small business owners. We have references for whoever is interested.
Janice Smith-Reddick hired us to design and develop a website for her business on September 30, 2011. Janice Smith-Reddick was not financially able to pay the required 50% deposit with the project so we worked out a payment plan for her where she pays smaller deposit and then WEEKLY installments until the balance is paid off. There was NEVER an agreement for progress payment.
After many requests Janice Smith-Reddick failed to provide us with the content and instructions for the website as required by our Customer Agreement http://www.499websites.com/499Websites.com%20Customer%20Agreement.pdf which requires her to send us all of the content and instructions within a week from the date of retaining our services. On October 19, 2011 at 6:00pm EST Janice Smith-Reddick informed us that she is still working on the content and it will take her days before she will send it to us. Janice Smith-Reddick also failed to send us the required instructions for functionality of the website portal.
The website design was completed and approved by Janice Smith-Reddick (email availabe for viewing upon request) after she made us redo it more than twice. Due to the nature of the Janice Smith-Reddick's website, it is inappropriate for us to put links to the designs but the designs are available for viewing upon request.
After doing many hours of work on Janice Smith-Reddick's website she decided to abandon the project. Janice Smith-Reddick also made false statements to PayPal.
After going the extra-mile for Janice Smith-Reddick by accomodating her finacially, taking her late hours telephone calls, spending hours working on her website, Janice Smith-Reddick is refusing to pay us.
