On April 24, 2024, a friend and I took a trip into Corner Brook, NL from Robinsons, NL which is approx. 100km drive bringing vehicle in for service / repair. Being in this area occasionally, tradition is to stop into a Tim Hortons to enjoy something to eat or just grab a beverage before heading back home. Before going to scheduled appointment for my vehicle then heading on return trip, we decided just to go through the drive through at Tims which was located at Murphy’s Square in Corner Brook. The order at this time was just a beverage for each of us, mine being an Ice Capp and a tea for my friend then having it at the nearby dealership while waiting for vehicle to be completed. This drive through event at Tim’s took place at 09:30 AM on this date as per above. While at dealership I was in waiting room sitting by myself as my friend went looking at merchandise elsewhere in the building. I was just getting to the bottom of my drink when I discovered something very odd. Fortunately, there were two ladies that worked at this dealership who took witness to this while being next to me and seeing my reaction. They were grossed out just as much as me in seeing two coins (Money) in the bottom of my drink container. This sickened me immediately and I did not feel well with the thoughts going through my mind of having probably one the dirtiest things that gets handled each and everyday soaking in my drink as I consumed it. Just even typing this statement makes me queasy. I did not know what to think and the ladies offered themselves as witness to the fact if needed in any action pursued. The vehicle was ready, and I was not feeling that good now and wanted to get home. During drive back I am getting more disgusted and furious at what has taken place. I knew action had to be taken, hence this letter. I know this may not have been intentional by your employee, but you need to look at this and resolve a potential health risk being made. My guess is being it was an ice cap drink, it has an open top with a straw option. Going through the drive through, my thinking was that the drink had been placed below the working counter of the drive through receiving window waiting for my turn to arrive. Receiving change and bills for other customers before me in the lineup, the employee probably swept the money or change from the platform of previous customers to his or her hands either missing some or putting into a catch underneath for change. Saying this I am thinking, how much other stuff went into my drink from that counter if this is the case? Again, I am disgusted and traumatised with what has taken place, and it has not been sitting well with me or others. I have been advised to seek some counsel advice on this to move forward in acting, which is a reasonable thought and should be considered. I personally would like someone who represents Tim Hortons to call me first to discuss this please. I don’t think that is asking too much. This at least shows that you do care enough for the company to make that call. If not, then I guess its just another day in the life of Tim Hortons in letting their legal division take care of it and go on as normal in not making corrections to improve its business or customer base. I hope you take this seriously and I expect some reply to this soon. If no response, then expect further communications from other parties.

Desired outcome: Would like a representative to make personal call to me please or email. Pictures and witnesses available with Ph #'s
