Speedway An employee that spoiled my evening and week.

I was at the Batavia Speedway approx. 11:55 pm on Saturday. I walked into the store and asked the gentleman reading his book, may he please open the slot machine door to gambling, he did, and I said thanks. I proceeded to gamble for about 10 minutes. Lost.

At this time, I go to the ATM outside the playing area, got more money, and asked him if he could open the door, please.

He replied," DON'T MAKE THIS THE THEME OFF THE NIGHT."

I told him, dude it's a part of your job, not reading a book.

Then about 2 minutes later he blurted out, "I HOPE YOU LOSE IT ALL." [ I was the only person in the entire store before it was asked how do I know he was talking to me.}

I told him then get another job, you show you don't like this one daily. and hate customers. Then he waves the phone at me and threatens to get me escorted out. I told him to call whomever, I did nothing, but follow store rules while playing slots.

I want a formal apology and compensation for the rudeness and poor service. mistreatment. He also needs training of some sort. Or to be fired. Plenty of people would be happy to work.

Speedway Employment

Working at Speedway since 7/11 took over is a joke. I personally REQUESTED to be labeled not eligible for rehire. Everything is broken, the pay is ridiculous for the work done. Everyone is short staffed and the corporation DOES NOT CARE. The employees are stressed, the customers are pissed. The whole situation is a joke. You will be lucky if you have longevity at all with your employees.

Desired outcome: Fix it or shut it down. Don’t make the employees OR customers suffer with pretending that it’s a good place to work. It’s NOT.

Speedway Customer service

I purchased gas today at the Speedway on 39 South Maple St. 40391. When I was done pumping the gas, I thought I would clean out my truck. I went to 3 different wash stations to grab napkins. 1 had very few, and the other 2 was halfway full. I needed plenty of napkins to wash the windows from the salt, and clean up a spilled drink. The employee came out and was talking loudly, that I was STEALING their napkins in front of a parking lot full of people! I said ma'am im just trying to clean out my truck, I'm not stealing anything, I just purchased gas. She got hysterical with me and told me I wasn't allowed back! Now I'm scared to even go back and purchase anything! Her name tag said Krissy

Speedway She needs to be fired

A few weeks ago I went there late and night to but 2 packs of cigarettes. The girl only used one of my 2 coupons and when I said something to her, she got very rude and belligerent. When I ask for the unused coupon and was nasty to me and threw it at me. Two weeks later tonight I went there again and again ask her for 2 packs of cigarettes and said are going to use both coupons and said no she refused me service and called the police on me and her manager. I told her call the police and I will tell the police how rude you were to me, and I was nothing but kind to you. My wife filmed the whole exchange of our back and forth. This girl was rude, and I was told by her co-workers that they can't stand her either because she is mean and rude to them as well. The Speedys I was refereeing to was on 19th street in Allentown, Pennsylvania. My wife made a video of the incident but it was too large to send it here. Speedway Scammers

My husband and I we’re just getting gas, we paid out at the pump for $30.03. Our bank has an outstanding ability to recognize false transactions, the employees inside tried getting an additional $125.00 from our account! This is stealing and considered larceny. I have proof of all the information I am submitting about and I may look into what I can do legally! Inexcusable and I wonder how many people this has happened to. Thank goodness my bank caught this, especially a week before Christmas

Speedway Rude employee

I came into speedway, and they I’d me for a vape, I was annoyed because I visit this location often as my family works here. I went and got my ID. When I came back in, I said something about them not ID the person beside me. He proceeded to say, if you don’t like it don’t have to serve you! And I gave him the money, and ID and he held the vape for like 3 minutes before giving it to me, EVEN THOUGH HE HAD MY MONEY!

Dude had dreads, skinny, and wore glasses!

Desired outcome: He needs to know how to talk to people!!

Speedway trashy store, poor service, gas pumps will not give receipts, gas nozzle not working right.ht

store #0008782. The gas pumps do not print receipts. Then I have to go inside this trashy store and wait in line as long a a half hour to get a receipt. The attendant tells me they do not know how to put a new roll of paper in the pump.

THIS HAPPENS EVERY TIME I GO IN THERE. This store was rebuilt not to long ago. It is the trashyest store I have been in. There is another store about a mile away, that is old and in better shape than this one. It is located at the corner of 44th street and Kalamazoo Ave in kentwood, MI. The good store is at the corner of 44th st and Eastern. Every time I go in there their is someone new working. They get worse every time. These people do not know anything about customer service and don't seem to care.

Desired outcome: Get a better staff, train them, c lean up the store, FIX THE DAM PUMPS!!!!!!

Speedway coffee

Your coffee is not coffee. It is light brown out of the nozzle.

Coffee is normally black in color.

It looks like you gave up. Or you just don't care.

The cup of "coffee" looks like I already added my hazelnut cream, which you no longer offer.

I have bought coffee (now hot colored water) for years at your Saginaw Street Speedway in Lansing, Michigan.

For years, I have also sometimes used the bathroom in the morning, before 6:00 A.M., I work early, the only bathroom available.

The bathroom is now closed.

The manager used to be a great guy named Mike. He knew my name. He is gone.

A menagerie of people work there now. I miss Mike.

I switched to the MLK street Speedway in Lansing weeks ago...but worse.

I will try the gas station across the street tomorrow.

It can't possibly serve coffee more terrible then what Speedway has to offer.

I hope it has better bathrooms.

Desired outcome: Reopen the bathroom at the Saginaw Street Speedway. Serve Coffee. Real Coffee. Dunkin Donuts across the street does not open until 6:00 A.M.

Speedway Fuel attendant at the Hamilton NJ route 33 location

This guy eventually came strolling over eating a sandwich. This was after I got out of my vehicle and closed the gas lid. I waited patiently for 10 minutes and that was enough. I decided to say forget Speedway and got fuel at a BP station right down the street for the same price. No waiting at BP. It's the last time I will ever waste my time at Speedway.

Speedway Speedway stollings wv

A worker named Eric farmer refused me service at the door due to me and him having words months ago about my ex wife he made me stand 5 minutes outside while the door was locked then let one guy in told me I wasn’t allowed I said why he said u just aren’t. Stollings speedway in Logan wv about between 1 and 230 am today he was rude gave me no explanation he is a common meth head that needs drug tested and fired over this I am a loyal speedway customer. Speedway Hostess donettes powdered mini donuts 10oz bag

Purchased a bag of powdered donuts November 15 2022. When I got them home and went to have one I noticed the exp. date is sept 1 2022. I couldn’t bring them back because the gentlemen never gave me my receipt. I bit into one and it has the strangest flavor and also there was a hard particle I bit into. I don’t know if It’s the ingredients just dries up due to the 2 mos that it has expired, I don’t know my whole experience with this was awful and a waste of money.

Speedway Customer service

Cashiers and managers are rude and not very friendly, I was in the Pikeville store #9620 11/01/2022 and the manager was rude her name is Kay, please get better customer service I was checking out and asked if there was a certain red bull she tells me no we don't have any and I'm not looking in the back so you might as well go on, I was being very nice until that point I told her she didn't need to be rude, also my sister had to get a new id and was given a paper I'd wich is a government document with her picture and all her information they refuse to accept it for tabcco and that is against the alcohol, tabcco rules so please do something about Kelly bowling not accepting stuff like that

Speedway Products met-tx chocolate chip cookie dough

I just brought an met-rx chocolate chip cookie dough bar and I started eating it at first bite it taste nasty 🤮 I check for expiration date and it was been expired over a week I Complaint to the attendant and she said she is not responsible for it She didn’t get chance to check candy section you can speak to manager and she is not available at this point she-didn’t provide any contact information for her to reach! And am been puking

Speedway Bathroom out of order

Date: October 2nd, 2022

Location: 2300 E Butler Ave, Flagstaff, AZ 86004

Time: Between 17:00 - 18:00

Incident:

After a long drive, we stopped at your store because we knew it provides fast and great service. However, when I walked in to get gas and snacks, I am 8 months pregnant as well, I urgently needed to use the restroom.

After checking out with the clerk, i asked where the bathroom was located. The clerk had told me the bathroom was out of order. I asked if i can just wash my hands as i can find a bathroom located elsewhere. The clerk said no and said the bathroom was out of order. I asked why? Is it the pipes or the water isn't working? He said his manager advised him that nobody should use the restroom. I asked if i can just get some paper towels. He said no. I asked if he had any behind his counter, he came rude and disrespectful. I asked him if there has been a work order for the bathroom because if it's the pipes or anything, then that is a safety hazard. he said he has to call his manager and I said please call. He said he can't call his manager because he just doesn't want to. I asked him for the manager's phone number to which he didn't provide and i asked for the names of his manager and he wouldn't provide. I asked for the district manager contact information and her phone number as well, but he didn't provide no information. I advised him that i worked at a speedway for management and the bathroom out of order is simply a concern as it is used for the public and if it is closed then a service order and ticket has to be made due to safety concerns and because Speedway is supposed to be providing services for the customers, which includes a bathroom for the public or at least the customers. I called and was told that the bathroom is still out of order. I'm wondering if this speedway has any other safety concerns and issues that needs to be addressed to a higher chain or if the employees are just simply refusing the customers to use the restroom, if so, then a sign needs to be made properly addressing that the restroom is for employees only. Please speak to the district manager about this.

Desired outcome: No outcome. No apology. No empathy. Just outright disrespect. Please fix the issue, some people need the restroom services due to medical conditions.
