Store closed
I fuel at the speedway in Sonora,Ca everyday and have for almost 2 years. Between the hours of 4-530am on the days this particular person works the store is always closed for a mandatory lunch break or some other kind of break. This only happens when a particular person works and never when a different employee works. I wouldn’t have as much a problem if they would only take the 10 or 30 minutes it says on the door they will be gone but it is always 45 minutes to an hour or more. I know because I waited just to see how long it would be. I can’t always wait and am forced to fuel somewhere else thus loosing any points I would have gotten for fueling at speedway and wasting my time by having to drive to a different gas station. This also costs speedway money because I noticed I’m not the only one that stops for gas and leaves because of the store being closed. I know it’s the same person everytime because of the vehicle that is parked in front of the store and whose it is.
Desired outcome: I like to see the store not closed for hours at a time because one employee is lazy and doesn’t want to work.
Rude customer service
Shopping at the Tallmadge store, this attendant consistently has an attitude towards me like a chip on her shoulder. It isn’t acceptable any further. Last evening she was rude and out of line to say the least. I have contacted the gm of the store located in Tallmadge and am just not going to accept any attitude while shopping for convenience items.
Desired outcome: Depends, write up and a personal apology will be fine
Employee refused a receipt
I purchased gas at a Speedway located at 2650 Gateway Oaks Dr Sacramento CA., around 10am on Friday September 16 while on the way to the airport. Running a little late this location was around the corner from the hotel. I filled up and needed a receipt for expenses since this was a business trip. The pump didn’t not provide one, employees to lazy to fill them up. The employee was standing inside behind the counter doing nothing. I went inside to request one. Employee ask the pump number, I gave the pump number, then says I need to know the amount. I say, don’t you have a meter inside, she says no, I say why do you need the pump number if you don’t have a meter. She says “ if you’re going to get an attitude I can refuse you service”. I it’s walked out. I can’t imagine someone so miserable in their life that they need to create controversy over a receipt. I guess this makes her King of the Counter. This is a reflection on the training this person got from there employer and must represent Speedway as having poor customer service. I don’t have to buy from speedway and I will cease to do so. I ask that you think before you shop at Speedway at any location in the Nation, not just this location.
Desired outcome: Reprimand the Employee and part of that reprimand is training in customer service and courtesy, and an apology to me.
Workers
09-11-22 6pm speed was has been closed since 6pl the workers are sitting in a truck away from the Camaras getting high .. people are out of gas and need items out the store and have to find other store to fulfill their needs. When we pull up the first time the said they was going on break both lady’s. When we pulled up the 2nd time they was in the car that was around 8-9 .. today the store is going through the same thing
Desired outcome: These workers don’t need toTake a break at the same time leaving the store closed all day while they get high..
Customer service is horrible no one ounce of hospitality in that place n no one seems to have control in there

For over two years I’ve been a regular customer for cigarettes, gas, food (breakfast sandwiches) etc… however I suddenly began to see a decline in customer service. I do see that the store is staffed. Mostly black shirt (leaders) that outnumber the red T-shirt (standard) employees. So back to why I won’t be returning to speedway. I’ve gone in several times only to wait in a line when one person is on a register and three black shirts are either outside smoking or watching the one sometimes two cashiers get overwhelmed. I used to spend over $1,200 monthly but my business is going to Circle K.
Desired outcome: Don’t care. I’m not returning to store.

Employee on duty 7/20/2022 came out to gas pump where I was paying for my daughter gas and w as very rude. Apparently my car was parked in a No Park area was a truck lane. There has been multiple occasions. Few months back I asked the same guy to count his drawer I thought I gave him an extra 20 dollars. His response was no because he knows hes not wrong. He refused to count his draw

Cleanliness and discrimination against paying customers
They made me use the men's bathroom which hasn't been cleaned in I don't know how long. There are feces all over that bathroom at the speedway at 946 Washington St Attleboro. They treat me and my fiance like criminals following us around the store like we are going to steal or something. Half the time we get refused the bathroom. We get treated this way because we are homeless.
Desired outcome: This needs to be taken care of or I'm sueing the store
Salyersville Speedway
The female manager there is so rude. I’ve shopped and got gas there my entire life. Screams at people for not pre paying and everyone considers her attitude to be a problem. I recommend speedway fix their Salyersville Kentucky speedway managers attitude or I will shop elsewhere!
I have heard multiple people have bad experiences with this woman, screaming at customers over pre paying, being straight up rude with people in my family and even friends. I wanted to get a job at speedway, but I have decided against it due to this pathetic behavior on part of this lady. I hope and pray she changes her attitude!
Not sure of her name but she’s the day manager from what I know.
Desired outcome: Attitude change or I’ll tell everyone I know to go get gas and tobacco somewhere else
Unauthorized credit card charges
I was at the speedway on Illinios rd in Fort Wayne, IN on 6/1/22 at 7:35pm when I purchased two packs of gum 2 for 3$, mini icee, 20oz coffee, roll of grizzly wintergreen longcut, and a roll of grizzly wintergreen pouches and scanned my speedy rewards card. The total came to about 47$ and i checked my bank account shortly after and seen i was charged 69.57. The cashier that helped me was named Nicole Brooks.
Desired outcome: Refund for overcharge

I live right down the road from store #3582, I have been going there pretty much every other day for either drinks, snacks or gas for nearly 3 years. I loved the staff and the store was very convenient for me. Lately I've been thinking about not going there anymore and driving farther to a new location. I work at speedway and the district manager decided to turn off the cameras for me not to be able to view suspicious cars and customers (there’s a password on the system now for the employees to be able to view live security footage that no one knows) and I work night shift on top of that. So that’s really dangerous to do and it’s been like that for weeks. Reason unknown. But it’s extremely dangerous and extremely inappropriate

I'm not sure who to reach out to but I did talk with the manager about a new recruit whose name is Paris and works at Speedway Store #6207. She insists on selling a 16 ounce for a 12 ounce price. And she is friends and referred by the new district manager at Speedway Store #6207. She has been hired and on the register for less than a week. 4/5/2022 around 2:00 pm was date of purchase.

This place is absolutely ridiculous, is this one of those sticker shops because it smells like marijuana in there every time I go i there. Either your staff is smoking marijuana and doesn’t care or the management doesn’t care. It’s absolutely disgusting and I will not be going in there anymore unless this problem is resolved. Horseheads, NY don’t go there. It’s horrible.
The management at speedway
You need to train your management staff better, this place is horrible, the management is rude, unprofessional and doesn’t seem to know what he is doing. The store is not very clean and the restrooms were horrible with toilet appear everywhere, it was disgusting. The cooler didn’t seem to stocked or have anything worth buying. I’m not sure of the store number but the store is located on grand central ave in horseheads, NY. I will not be going here again.

Purchase gas a few minutes ago from speed way gas station at 129-03 North Conduit Ave Queens NY 11420
After driving off the station the check engine light came on and the engine is shaking really bad. Either the gas has too much something that cause my vehicle check engine light to come on.
Look into this gas station. Second time this happens.
Customer service at speedway
1103 morise road. Don’t expect to get any servise or to be treated with any kind of basic human decency. And by the self proclaimed manager no less. After I was told to, “get mad cracker, don't care”. I asked to speak to the manager and she then replied “ I am the manager”. Of course she would be because that’s how managers talk to customers. Hello my name is Carrie Smith I have been going to the speedway in Roseboro NC for quiet sometime now. Few days ago I went to speedway like I normal do am not for sure if the manager Melissa was having a bad or what was going on but either way it was uncalled for her attitude. Every time I go into speedway she act if she doesn't wanna be there or she hate her job. She need to respect all her customers like they respect her you can't talk to a person any kind of way an expect them to keep spending they money inside the business. I don't need no apology I have took my business elsewhere even though the rest of your employees have great attitudes and they smile. The lady sandy is amazing an I love her she makes my family feel welcome and the girl Tiara greets me every time I go in there and the other manager shy she is amazing as well … the tall white girl she amazing as well…. Just appreciate your employees that wanna work and give us customers what we need .

Went into Store #0007690-Westlake, Ohio 44145 to pay for gas and dealt
with a Gia. Horrible customer service! Was not greeted, very rude tone and did not say thank you, have a nice day, NOTHING! The floor in the store was covered with mud and lots and lots and lots of water. I almost slipped and fell. The customer service in this store is getting worse and worse every time I go in there. PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS IMMEDIATELY!
