I purchased my side by side on 10/25/23 and had a plumber hook it up. I called a few days later because the it was not producing ice and the freezer kept beeping high temperature and would not stop. I called that day and I was told to turn off for 24 hours and turn back on. Then 27 hours later I turned back on and it would not stop beeping high temperature... So I called for help and was told a tech would be out in 2 weeks. Meanwhile I have no fridge. Afraid to plug in for fear of fire. I finally got a call and was seen in one week. Tech said it was not the water line (it was just too tight) but in fact it was the freezer seal that was warped and was causing freezer to frost up and would not stop saying high temperature. So the tech called it in an the man did not know he was on speaker phone as he told the tech "tell her it will be 3-5 days we will contact her but really it will be more like 10 days". It has been over ten days and no call and no response to my dozens of emails or calls. I have not fridge and I am living out of a mini fridge and a cooler and frigidaire will not help me. I need a fridge for food, and ice for a damaged knee. I cannot get any help

Claimed loss: NO FRIDGE..........

Desired outcome: NEED MY MONEY BACK OR REPLACEMENT.. BUT I WOULD RATHER HAVE MY MONEY BACK

We're sorry for your frustration and would like to assist.

The first action to take is contacting the retailer you purchased the fridge through. Many retailers have ways to assist in such circumstances, including lending out a fridge until yours can be fixed.

Then take the time to call 1 /866 /386 /5286. Although it is a busy time of year, a tech should be able to dispatch and resolve your issue somewhat reasonably.
