For months I have attempted to Frigidaire to either fix or replace my microwave. Even spent $500 to have one of Frigidaire's recommended service techs to come fix it, as Frigidaire was going incredibly slow to do anything. Every single time I contact them, I am told it will be resolved and that I will get an email. It has been 4 or 5 months now and I still have no response and no working microwave. Next week is Thanksgiving and I will need that microwave. After months of asking them to honor the extended service agreement, I am now asking Frigidaire to please replace the microwave so we can move on. This is beyond ridiculous now. I purchased an ESA in May 2023 have provided proof of that purchase. I have a professional microwave; it was incredibly expensive, and it is now an expensive paperweight.
Claimed loss: $2000

Our first refrigerator of this model crapped out within the first year needing a new compressor and a few other parts. The replacement lasted 1.5 years with similar/same issues. Unfortunately, I did not have the extended warranty. Company asked me how I treated my refrigerators (like I was doing something wrong). Poor customer service and even worse products.

We're extremely sorry you're having the problems you are. That isn't normal but, unfortunately, any product can have issues before one might expect.
The question of use, in the most sincere opinion, is likely what kind of breathing room the unit has. It's important all fridges are provided with enough breathing room to protect against an early death -- as this has unfortunately done.
This particular model has a fantastic design, using regular shelving even though this is a counter depth model. It definitely is worth servicing.

Frigidaire Gallery French door refrigerator
Purchased new fridge for +$2000 on 9/5/23, installed 9/18, stopped working 9/23. Troubleshooted for 9 days per Frigidaire instructions. Contacted customer care(CC) 10/3, was told by text 10/6 no service in area i need to Wait 3-5 days. On 5th day contacted CC and was told to wait 24 hrs, contacted them almost daily since and have been told to wait, wait, wait. After contacting CC thru their text, email, Instagram, and phone, have not received any resolution at all! SIX weeks without refrigerated food. No refund, no replacement...NO ANSWER.
They will not assist me and continue to brush me off, they "escalate" to back off or SLE team or someone else. No actual director or supervisor to speak to... They are hoping I disappear and that they can wait it out. Incredibly bad customer service and disappointing lack of care. No thought at all about a family without refrigerated food for 6 weeks as holidays approach.
Claimed loss: $2172.91 plus $100 delivery fee plus $300 loss of food = $2572.91

frigidaire dishwasher
I have had 5 service calls in the last three months and am having no.6 this week. The dishwasher washes and drains and 2-3 days later the tub is full of gray water. I can hit start and then cancel and all the gray water is pumped out and doesn't come back. No tech has been able to find the problem. I can only call same number and get same answer. They won't let you speak to their techs.
Help-warranty is running out.

I bought the refrigerator from Home Depot on 8/29/2023. I contacted Home Depot when the freezer was not working properly, and they told me to contact Frigidaire. The freezer does not keep food consistently cold, and some areas are colder than others. My ice cream melted. I have contacted Frigidaire three times and was told a technician would be at my house to fix it twice which never happened. The third time I was told I would receive reimbursement paperwork in 7 to 10 business days and would be able to obtain another refrigerator from Home Depot. It has been over 10 business days. Since I have not been told the truth based on my previous interactions with customer service, I am filing a complaint.
Desired outcome: I would like a new refrigerator with a working freezer. I lost all of my food in my freezer since it did not work properly.

Offering rebates with no specific details. Only certain retailers as well as only certain models of the name branded. Purchase the wrong item and voids the rebate. Sneaky practices. Bait and switch. I was going to purchase a different brand before the rebate advertisement. Spent time sending in forms just to find out something was not right and that may have been any of 6 different causes for the denial of the rebate. After researching it seems only a few retailers were participating, not Best Buy in Flagstaff Arizona.
Desired outcome: The Frigidaire co. should be held liable for falsely advertising rebates.
Refrigerator
I called the service dept on 9/21 to repair a refrig. The refrig had just gone out of warranty on Aug 14, 2023. I was told they would do a one time warranty service call if I bought an extended warranty and I did that, for 5 years. This refrig is in a rental unit and it still is not fixed. I was told they would get a repair person out and then I got an email stating they couldn't get anyone to do the work. I then tried 3 times and I can't get to anyone on the phone. I am told they are busy and I must call back. I waited on a chat for 45 min and still nothing. I need a call from someone today. If I do not get a call to repair this refrig I am cancelling the 5 yr warranty.

On September 24, 2023 I found the unit was not making any cold air and all my food was spoiled. I have made so many calls to the Customer Service number it is not funny. I bought an extended warranty and then was told I could not use it for 60 days. A lovely lady from Electrolux in GA called me and provided a "concession." After the local repair shop failed to come 2x, they called and told me the "concession' was not valid and they hate working with Frigidaire; they would only come to my home if I paid for the repairs.
I have no fridge, I have no food, I have 7 hungry people in my home. This cost so much money and the fun has not stopped yet.

You are right that most consumers would not think their appliance would only last for a single year. However, to be competitively priced, this unit comes with a similar warranty as others in this same category -- one year, limited. The good news is that many of the fine Frigidaire retailers offer additional service packages either free or at very little cost.
Start by contacting the retailer you purchased the unit through. If they cannot assist, please let us know.
We are absolutely sorry to hear of your difficulties.
You're right in that no one expects their fridge to die after only a year. There are those that will have purchased this same unit and have it running ten years later, others may have difficulties within the first year. Additional warranty coverage should reflect the amount of risk one is willing to take when making any particular purchase.
Although not under warranty, you're likely better off to get the fridge serviced. Whereas it's still relatively new, you should still be able to replace the compressor and have a great product. Make sure to provide enough breathing space for the fridge to function properly. Not doing so can create the issue you're dealing with.
Stove dryer dishwasher
It doesn't matter if it's a dryer or stove. I got a dryer brand new and it burnt out in one year. I got a stove brand new and have burned dinner again because it only has one setting high. You can turn it to low but it still cooks it at highest setting. Frigidaire must be the latest piece of Chinese crap because everything from them I have had is the worst appliance you can buy. Frigidaire is the worst pieces of sh...t that's ever been made. Whoever makes it should be ashamed because your the worst product in circulation. There should be regulations to keep you from selling because it doesn't matter if it's a dryer, a dishwasher, and your stove only works on high even when you set it on low. Thanks for burnt dinner again. They should stop you from making the crap you do. It's wrong to pay for what you make.

I bought this large size refrigerator model #FFHX2325TS2 Ser # 4A92624335; MANUFACTUED IN 2019.
Right from the start we had problems and the company just did not take care of the issues, such as noise etc.
The refrigerator was bought and installed in 2020; and in August of 2023 it was not working we called and inquired about the warranty and it only had one year? We called the authorized service repair person at our cost just to diagnose.
His list of repairs was long and most of them are FRIGIDAIRE? AND THE COMMON PROBLEM IS ONE PART THAT BLOWS AIR FROM THE TOP (made in China).
I would like them to recall and replace this repair or give us a new one that has good warranty.
THIS IS DECEPTION AND FRAUD.

We want to make sure to clarify why you feel there is "deception and fraud.". Was there any representation of anything other than the one-year limited warranty? If there was, we want to understand.
Also, have you checked with the retailer you purchased the unit through? Many offer additional service packages that will cover replacement.
Dehumidifier
Frigidaire did not honor the one year warranty. I purchased the dehumidifier on Amazon & received it on August 15, 2022. I contacted Customer Care on August 12, 2023 indicating that the unit was leaking & the coils had major ice build-up.
I asked for a replacement unit & spent more than 3 weeks following-up with Customer Care said that a replacement was being sent. I received nothing. I sent a letter to the Frigidaire Comsumer Complaint Department located in Augusta, GA with no reply.
The company has zero customer service.
Desired outcome: Send a replacement unit as they agreed to do.

This microwave was purchased for our new home build in 2019. A brand new microwave in 2019. I purchased the extended service agreement May 2023.

Normally extended service agreements are purchased along with the appliance. Whereas this wasn't the case, make a claim with whomever you purchased the coverage through.

As we understand it, you purchased a new Frigidaire Professional built-in microwave, model FPMO3077TF in 2019. It came with a new home build. That model is sold with a one year-limited warranty. By sometime this year you started having issues with the microwave so, in May of this year, you paid for an extended service agreement from the manufacturer. Here's where the problem lies. Under the T&C (Terms and Conditions) of the extended warranty, there is a clause labeled, "Limitations of Coverage - This Contract Does Not Cover:" Item number 10 on this list is, "Pre-existing conditions (incurred prior to the effective date of coverage) known to you." Prior to purchasing the extended warranty agreement, you had communicated with people at Frigidaire which appears to have made notes within you account. The problem results because every time a warranty claim is submitted, it's not being covered. At least that as it appears. You want to remove that option off the preverbal table.
You said you, "spent $500 for a recommended service tech to fix the unit." We'd like to assist following up on this option. What date did this happen? What were the T&C (Terms and Conditions) of this service contract? This may be a perfect way of getting this resolved.
