Google Treasure Chest, Draper, Utah Complaints & Reviews - Fraud Alert! I am a former employee

Review all Google Treasure Chest, Draper, Utah complaints

Google Treasure Chest

Fraud Alert! I am a former employee
Complaint Rating: 80 % with 5 votes
Company information:
Google Treasure Chest (Platinum Teleservices)
4250 South 405 East
Draper, Utah
United States
Phone: 8883010924
googletreasurechest.com
As a former employee of Platinum Teleservices (located in Draper Utah) I can tell you this product is a scam. You pay the $1.97 S&H only to find out that they have enrolled you into various other programs ( Safe Lock ID and Grant Spring) that give a short trial period and then huge monthly reoccurring charges. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS!

I encourage everyone to submit their complaints to the BBB of Utah as well as the Attorney General of the state so this company can finally be held responsible for their shady practices.

The thing is they have many phone numbers! I didn't think to write any of them down before I quit. The easiest way is to call your bank and ask them for the number directly to the merchant. If you look at your bank statement the phone number may appear on there but the last digit will be missing. Just add a zero (0) to it or get the full number from your bank :)

The phone numbers I have in my situation with them is
866 951 1406 for support at Google Treasure Chest, 970 W. Broadway Ste E347, Jackson, Wy and 866 957 0020 UT for refunds found on my bank statement. If you used a credit card you need to call your credit card company and get the number connected with your purchase of that DVD purchase.
When you try to reach these numbers you will probably encounter hangups and disconnects and someone mumbling what the hours of business are and then a disconnect. Keep trying-- they have to answer sometime to be able to conduct business..

I worked for Platinum Teleservices as well. The company shut down this week because the police showed up and told everyone to go home. This place is a complete scam. The company itself doesn't take hard working peoples money but they for companies that do. That to me, is a scam!!

I walked out on them shortly after I started..employees say they will probably be up and running again maybe on monday! We need to keep it up to get them shut completely down!

It is now wednesday..and the company is not up and running at all. Employees that I keep in touch with said that the managers are having "a meeting" soon. Hopefully this company is out for good.

If you are trying to get ahold of googletreasurechest.com, googlemoneytree.com, or internetincomeinitiative.com, you won't be able to because this call center is closed..hopefully for good. If you need charges reversed I would call your bank &/or credit card company and file a fraud report. You will more than likely get your money back. As for grantspring.com I am not sure if their company is up and running. Platinum teleservices also did customer service for safelockid.com, acaix3.com, and xanathin3.com.

Feds Investigate a Utah 'Work at Home' Internet Business, Freeze Assets:

DRAPER, Utah - The FTC called it Operation Short Change -- scammers taking advantage during the recession. Thousands of people scammed, millions of dollars lost. One of the 15 federal lawsuits is against a Utah company who the FTC says used the internet and Google to trick people out of money. Now the Utah company, Platinum Teleservices is tangled up in a federal crackdown.

FOX 13's Arikka Von has the story.

This deposition or whatever it's called, is very interesting reading. It also lists the acual names of the defendants who are directly responsible, in addition to the various names of the businesses.

Good! I'm glad the FTC is finally doing something about these crooks!

I really appreciate reading all these comments. Here I thought I had totally lost it!! They do just that ...the $1. whatever is so bogus and yes, then you are hooked up to all these accounts and you think you are nuts because you did not sign up for this. To top it all off, when you do reach someone you get a bogus address for support @google treasure chest! Now What?????????

It is no wonder people who are sincere and just want to improve there finances are so lost!! What has happened to honesty?
