I was in the mall and stop in Weisfield for cleaning, was told that my prong was loose by sales lady, Norma. Norma said if I didn't have it repaired, Weisfield want replace the diamond if lost. reluctantly gave the ring, told her I knew my ring and pointed out what I would be looking for.Repeated it over & over befor given ring. two weeks later picked up my ring, immediately said"this is not my ring, the diamond was smaller, the ring looked cheap, it didn't have that sparkler. Norma was coincidently transferred. Talked with district manager, he ask the question, "does the ring fit", that raised a red flag, I was focusing on the diamond not trying on the ring, well it didn't fit.I insist this was not my ring they wanted to say it was. I got a lawyer to assist, he told me to take that ring to have it appraise. I went to a Gemologist, the best, to learn the diamond size is smaller than I purchase, value was less, and most of all the ring does not fit my finger. I took it off my finger to give the sales person, but on return no fit.I went to small claim court in San Bernardino, Ca.. Would you believe with all the evidents, the judge ruled in their favor. No justice in the small claim ct.. As a man soweth, that shall he also reap. Ladies dont be fooled by your prong is loose. I was told by an employee of Kays jeweler, they will switch your rings and resell your diamonds.Enough is enough. How many are victim of having your prong repaired? Are you sure you have the same ring. Do not shop at Weisfield or Kays they are sister stores.

BEWARE ! My elderly, disabled mother-in-law purchased a number of chains and pendants for the kids and grandkids for Christmas. All were birthstones. She was told by the salesperson that everything was real; the gems, diamonds, etc. Well two months later my "Real" pearl began to peel and what was underneath turned out to be nothing more than a plastic ball coated with a pearl-like coating of some sort. Her pendant, which she was told were diamonds, turned out to be white sapphires. Turned out nothing she purchased was what she asked for. Mind you, these items were purchased at a Weisfield Jewelry store in an upscale mall. We checked the receipts and they just have sku numbers and very vague descriptions, making it nearly impossible for us to dispute. If we had wanted a fake pearl with cubic zirconia accents we would have gone to Claire's or Wal-Mart. I would highly recommend you NEVER shop here, unless you have no problem doing business with liars.
