I purchased a German Shepherd puppy in Sept. of 2010. From the first day we picked him up, he had loose stools. I am an experienced dog owner and owned Shepherds for many years. This was my 5th one. Fine, find the right diet he needs to have healthy stools. Tried various dry food, special canned food that is easy to digest, chicken boiled, turkey, you get the idea. Never could produce consistant stools as i had with all my other dogs. This dog definately had something wrong with his digestive system. After 6 years of suffering and his liver being damaged by leaky bowels, Valen was put to rest.
Your behavior causes one to not only question your ethics, but also consider your level of intelligence. An owner of five dogs would presumably have a considerable amount of knowledge prior to obtaining a sixth. I am sickened and very angry that you allowed that sick creature to, in your own words, endure "six years of suffering." Thankfully, you scraped together enough compassion to end the dog's misery.You are a cruel individual. My response to your complaint is that you should never be allowed to own an animal again.
