I shopped at Earth Fare in Concord, NC this afternoon on 12/21/2022 2:20 PM. I waited at the meat counter until a butcher arrived who asked how he could help. I requested salmon and asked if he could skin it for me. He responded, "What's the secret word?" I replied, "Skin." He insisted on me telling him the secret word. When I replied that I didn't know it, he retorted, "Please! You don't have any manners." I responded, "I do have manners!" After completing my purchase, he handed it to me and said, "Here you go." I thanked him but he did not say that I was welcome, and I didn't feel welcome.
Desired outcome: Customer service training and a reprimand for this rude and disrespectful employee.
