Absolutely the worst experience with the Joint in sugar house. I was using there Chiropractic services in hopes to treat a ruptured disc in my back. After 1 year of treatment at 4 times a month, nothing was improving. I informed the Joint that there Chiropractic Services had done nothing for me despite their suggestions, and that i needed to now have a Spine Surgery / Fusion to repair the disc. I informed the doctors that my surgeon advised against any more Chiropractic treatment, as he believed they had caused more damage to my back. The Joint and its owner James Aldeman agreed to cancel my account and not bill me any further. Instead the joint continued to Bill my credit card card each month for services i could not use. Then when the card declined because it had expired they billed me for 2 more months. I was unaware of the billings, as it had been more than a year since i had visited the joint. I found out during the refinance of my home, that The Joint & James Aldeman had sent me to collections for the 2 declined billings... The total was $68! They took 180 points off my credit score & have prevented me from being able to refinance my house! When i contacted them, their staff and the doctors treated me like a deadbeat who just needed to pay my bills. They refused to remove the account! Only after 3 days of complaining, calling corporate, and posting on the owners Facebook page did he finally respond. James Aldeman agreed to remove it from my credit account, if i agreed to not tell any one about my experience, complain online, or doing anything to hurt his business. I agreed merely so i could get my credit score back and move on. 2 weeks have past and nothing has changed. The Joint and its owners have done nothing to get my credit score back & i missed the opportunity to refinance my home. I think the Joint and its Owner James Aldeman should be ashamed of themselves for billing a customer without permission, especially when he had to have spine surgery. They obviously care much more about their money than they do patient care. If they are willing to ruin your credit for $68, I'm sure they are willing to do much worse to you as a patient!s
