All of you should buy USA made boots and expend more than 20 box to buy a real pair of working boots!
Good Luck!

my problem is a little different in that the uppers crinkle and continue until it just tear, , start the first day of wear, so by the time it tear you don't even get a good 6 weeks of wear..so who really nmake these shoe, and why k mart still selling them, ,

I bought my two months ago for my job. Inside work. They have completely ripped out. Is there a website for the company or someone to contact? This is ###.

Wow! I now wish I had read these reviews before purchasing the Kyser2 boots. They would not have held up 50 years ago while I was in college and working construction during the summers. But now that I am 70 and a retired undertaker I had hoped to get more than 3 months out of them just working in my yard. Eyelets did not stay anchored on both boots causing the sides to rip. I will not waste my energy and time presenting this to K Mart as others who unsuccessfuly tried.

Texas Steer use to be the greatest boot ever for construction. About 8 or 9 years ago they decided to start ripping the people off, selling wide steel toed boots. They are the most sickest boot on the market today. They are like snow boots. Wide steel toed boots that pull apart and look like [censored]. They should never be aloud to sell that garbage in the United States. You have to be a total fool to ever buy that boot for anything. They are so badly made the company should be sued and put out of business. They are probably made in China with fake leather. The quality is so bad, you can pull the soles off at the store. Go ahead and do it at K Mart. I did. Maybe try writing to the better business bureau or to who ever represents you in your district, This [censored] has got to stop and now. Trump 16

I bought a Pair of Texas Steer Boots and had them for 5 Months. After the 3rd Months, the Stitch Lining started to tear. Then started to come apart. I see why they Only Cost $20.

I just tried to return my Texas Steer KMAX2 Boots to Kmart, and they refused them. The sole separated from the rest of the boot. I've never had that happen to any boots I've ever owned before. And the fact that Kmart won't stand behind what they sell is ridiculous. I will never buy another pair of Texas Steer anything again, and Kmart just lost a customer for good. Lousy boots from a lousy store!

The descriptions and model numbers in store and on the website do not match. If what I believe to be correct actually is they are selling FAKE leather boots and passing them off as leather in the store.

What has happened to the GREAT boots you used to make?I have worn only Texas Steer boots all of my adult work life.At very least they would last a year, My last 2 pair have lasted less then 2 months. What a bummer would love to keep wearing this brand.Hopefully you will look into it and fix your quality.

I bought my Texas Steer Steel Toe work Shoes from K-Mart in El Centro, CA, as I recall. The first time I wore them, the sole of the left shoe delaminated. Clearly, the cement failed. Close inspection of the right shoe reveals some delamination of the sole at the toe of the shoe. Repeat: The soles came unglued the first time I had the shoes on my feet. Clearly, they were defective at the point of manufacture. Unfortunately, I cannot find the company or parent company of Texas Steer in a Google search. LABEL Info: Texas Steer Flexcore, Steel Toe. US size 9W. Serial #(?) [protected]. [protected] Jul 10 IKY/5266 Made in China

My Husband just bought a pair last week, has only worn them maybe 5 times and the brown on the toe of the boot has completely rubbed off! So now the toes are pink! I can only imagine what these boots will look like after wearing for 2 weeks! What a joke! He works indoors as a Maintenance Man, so they have barely even seen any weather! These boots are cheaply made but not cheaply priced! We are very unsatisfied with this product!

I deliver wine for a living and load a hand truck with about 10 to 12 cases at a time so I needed a pair of slip resistant boats because I go down a graded ramp with this hand truck so I got a pair of Texas Steer boats. DO NOT BUY THESE! The second day of use I slipped from the top of the ramp to the bottom landing hard on my tail bone also carrying a load of wine hurting my back! If you know what's good for you don't BUY these boots!

I recently bought a pair of Texas Steer steel toe boots for my job in a warehouse. I have worn TS boots most of my life and for the most part WAS pretty satisfied with the product. After 6 weeks of indoors use only (they were left in my locker off hours) the sole split off the right boot and caused me to nearly crash the forklift I was driving by jamming the pedals. I brought the boots back to Kmart and asked for an exchange and was told that because I didn't have a receipt and the were well worn they we not returnable. These boots are only 6 weeks old and are so unused that the ink on the insole is completely new and the treads are fresh. Kmart has lost a lifelong supporter and former employee as a customer. I really hope that anyone who considers buying Texas Steer boots reads this and takes the $50 and goes to the timberland outlet. Those boots last much longer and the company stands behind them.

MY COMPLAINT IS WITH THE CLEAT'S (sp?) I HAVE NOT EVEN WORN MY BOOTS MORE THAN TWENTY TIMES AND NOW THREE OR FOUR (4) HAVE BROKEN OFF. THERE IS 4 PER BOOT THE METAL IS TO LIGHT OF GAUGE AND SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN APPROVED FOR PRODUCTION. I am beginning to like my TEXAS STEER BOOTS AS THEY ARE GETTING BROKEN IN, BUT THE METAL CLEAT'S ARE BROKEN AND PREVENT PROPER LACING. BROKEN, NOW THEY WILL NOT SECURE / SUPPORT MY ANKLES AS INTENDED.
WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON? FUNCTIONAL OBSOLESCENCE IS CRIMINAL, FORESIGHT WITH MALICE. THEY KNOW IT IS GOING TO FAIL PREMATURELY ON PURPOSE. That's CRIMINAL INTENT TO DEFRAUD. THIS COULD HAVE GOTTEN A GOOD REVIEW FROM ME BUT NOW? THIS DOES MAKE CORPORATE PROFITS RISE, JUST THE OPPOSITE. AND MY TIME WASTED JUST TO RETURN THEM IS 5 TIMES THE VALUE OF THE BOOT. BOUGHT THEM TO USE THEM, NOT RETURN THEM. THEY REDUCED THE PRICE, MUST BE FROM THE COMPLAINTS. GEE WALLY! IF HEY ONLY MADE THEM RIGHT THE FIRST TIME I WOULD TELL MY ASSOCIATES THEY WERE A GOOD ITEM. CAN NOT SAY THAT NOW.

DON'T BUY THESE BOOTS, THEY ARE A WASTE OF MONEY!
I agree 100%! My husband bought not one but two pairs of LEATHER Texas steer work boots at Wal-mart and the soles separated ON BOTH PAIRS after a few months wear. Was told they were too worn, NOT! They were dirty as we live in a very rural desert area of Arizona, but the soles were not even worn.

Does anyone know who manufacturers these boots? Looking for a web site to show them how badly they are made.
Wanted to attach photos, but for some reason this site will not upload them.
Thanks!
