I have met a guy from Instagram, He mentioned he is working as a marine drilling engineer. He will give a lots sweet talks and try to gain trust from me. He will request my address to send a gift for you before he going for offshore contract for few months. These the guy wrote to me:
"I have sent the items I bought for you as I already promise you that which has been in my heart at same time to show how much i love you, the courier should get them across to you within the next couple of day. The things I sent to you are as follows: 2 iphone 11 pro max(for you and my daughter) Jewelries comprising neck lace, ladies hand bags, Apple Laptop(for my daughter), ladies wrist watch and ladies shoes, just hope the shoes will size you, ... all the jewelries are white and yellow gold. I am sure you will love them when you get the parcel soonest. Inside the luggage where you have the items I bought for you, I kept a Big brown envelop, inside the Brown Envelop, You will find a white medium size envelop open it and there you'll find 30, 000 dollars.. babe this money when you receive it you will keep it for me in the bank because i will use it when i come .. dear so immediately you receive keep it for me safely"

Few day later, I have received the call & sms : please kindly return my call urgently regarding parcel from xxxx (usa) thanks, mdm fatimah from swift courier agent.
The parcel already arrived at malaysia cargo but the custom told that they cant release to me bcoz your sender didnt pay for custom clearence. Total rm5500.
I have informed them I have no money to settle the custom clearance & request sender pay for it. I have informed they are parcel scam and i going for log police report. Since then they stop reply my SMS and don't even call me. The Guy also blocked me in social media & whatapps and disappear immediately too.
Thanks God I saved if not i will be another victim. Sharing this is act of responsibility to avoid anyone get this kind of love parcel scam. Please be cautions love parcel scam.

And here the interesting thing is that on the link from express delivery, all contacts and emails do not respond, that is, they are not registered at all, the site is completely naked. I started calling the man and he never picked up the phone. I started to check his number and found out that he belongs to Nigeria, but the parcel is coming from Great Britain and then I realized that it is a scam.

Also, couriers don’t allow senders to put money in the parcel. Today, I got the message from “swift express” employee. I corrected his message and told him to not even try to threaten me. I didn’t block the guy and I am waiting for his reaction because it will be such a fun part.
I faced same situation. As i dig through information of the guy in photos i have been received, i found out it was a scam. These group of people are missed use of others people photo to attract attention. I also received the message from swift express courier named Mr Eric. Please be careful whenever you meet people via online dating.

Yes I think I ran into the same guy. in my case he claimed he found some gold and had cash to send me. When I got the massage from them. They told my I had shp the needs paid on before they deliver it. They wanted a huge amount of money for me. And I was told it wouldn't cost me anything. I decided to not do anything with it. I told them to return the boxes, deliver the boxes or keep the I don't care. They are a scam.

I had a courier company call to tell me I needed to pay for a restricted stamp on a parcel. Then was contacted later by the same courier saying they had found drugs in my package but if I paid them 1400 they would fix everything. With the same experience of mine, the man said he is a korean and follow me on IG. His picture in IG is really handsome and he actually can write some korean to me (may be by google translate?). He said he is working in Oman as a civil engineer and company just sent him to Singapore for projects.
Just chat for only a week, he said he have a surprised gifts to me. I feel a bit suspicious so I only give him my company address instead of home address, and also a public email account. When I feel something strange after tracking the parcel (a strange sender address and 20kg of the parcel weight), I ask him for reasons and he even have sent me a video of his face to prove that he is real but not cheating on me).
And then today I got contact of the shipping company that an amount of HKD18,500 should be paid in advance for clearing the customs and overweight charges. I asked him for explanation, he said a lot of thing pursuing me to pay and he will get his salary after project done from company then he could pay me back. I don't believe it!
1. The parcel is 20kg! What causal present for a newly meet friend weight such heavy?
2. He said he put his money inside the parcel as well? Huh? What reason for this? It's nonsense.
3. What customs and overweight charges costs so expensive to HKD18,500? It almost one month salary of mine!
In fact I immediately block the contact from the shipping company, and wait and see what the scammer said to claim that he is innocent. But at last I lose all my patient to read all his words which is nonsense and ridiculus at all!
Now his IG account still exist (and have changed his photo as well), may be searching for next victim.

I knew its cliche but I like to play along. then he claimed that he sent me a packages as a gift to prove his love towards me. Oh no. disgusting . I blocked him but he still contacted me again and said that he, s not scammer bla bla and try to prove it agaain. [censored] . the courier speak malay with me through whatsapp . Their sentences really bad. it shows no manner and not profesional then expect me to believe him . hhahahahahahhahahah then I said will do log police report then they both kept silent not texting or calling me anymore to pick up the packages. Parece que esa modalidad de estafa es muy común, estas personas contactan a sus víctimas por Instagram. Son una red, es penoso que hagan quedar mal a sus países. Sean prudentes de no enviar dinero ni fotos íntimas.

I also got the same scam. Exactly as Stephanie's story.His IG was chun_bryan.the way he texted me for giving parcel also same with usd 30K too.the lady from malaysia also named Fatima asked me to pay IDR 20million to indonesian lady's personal account. He just delete his IG account few days ago.Be careful when you met a guy from IG and you saw his IG just been created and want to know you and giving you a lot of aweet words and said love you only in few weeks after knowing you. He is scammer definitely.He also prefer to have chat only and max a call, not Video call.
He will use WA number +1(252), actually that number is from North Carolina but he said he worked at Washington as Marine Engineering. His hobbies are gym, travelling, he will show you that he has good body and rich to get your attention, trust and love from his victim.

I have exactly the same scam as you and is from the same instagram account x_chan_4488. Similar stories . Received a call & sms from Mdm Fatimah from swift courier agent and asked to pay SIN $2000 for custom clearance for parcel from MK Chan.
Just be careful next time.

I was almost scammed too. His instagram account is x_chan_4488. Stories is similar to your post. He had to be offshore for few months & decided to send me a parcel which I rejected initially. But after giving my address, he sent me similar tracking parcel code from swiftexpint.com. I was called by a Malaysian agent : +[protected] & she asked me to pay $2600 SG dollar but I ignored it. I did my check on the number & noticed that it is mobile number. I checked with my relative who is working in delivery company & she checked for me. She called me later to inform me that it is a scam . It was a lucky escape.
