I ordered 4 iron bistro chairs from St. Simon's Beach Rentals. The chairs depicted on their website were the same as iron bistro chairs sold by Horchow.com. The photos that St. Simons used were the same photos on Horchow.com as well. The chairs were supposed to have a very natural iron finish. The chairs I received were a cheap knockoff with a painted gray finish (very matte, powdery finish). I took photos of the chairs to show side by side comparisons to the chairs that they had advertised on their site. It is obvious that the chairs are not even close to being the same finish. St. Simon's refuses to refund my money stating that they sell the exact sames chairs as Horchow. Also, I ordered the chairs back on 12/14/2010 and was told it would take about 3 weeks to receive the chairs. Seven weeks later, the chairs arrived. They blamed it on the shipping company, and never took ownership of the problem and are now handling this fraudulent transaction in the same manner.

Please contact me. I am having the same problem with Ann Degolian and hopefully we can work together. I have already filed a BBB complaint, a complaint with the state of Georgia office of consumer affairs, and my credit card company. I also filed complaints with Ebay and Horchow's legal department. SCAM! DO NOT BUY FROM ST SIMON'S BEACH RENTALS!

Our industrial cart coffee table is IDENTICAL to the one sold at Restoration Hardware for $995 plus tax and S/H, but ours is priced at $645 and there is NO tax. Please look at their website and compare to ours.
An early 1900s industrial original made from solid white oak was once used to transport furniture, fabric and supplies across the factory floor. Each table is a unique, distressed cart and so no two are alike. Slight variations is size may exist. Cast iron wheels are operational. Bolts and end plates are cast iron. We have very limited quantities of this table.
What arrived was a cheap copy made in India. As you can see above, what they advertised on eBay is the same as sold by Restoration Hardware, but instead a very poorly made replica (shipped from India) showed up... broken; not an antique refurbished in the USA as it was advertised. They now refuse to issue a refund and pick up this broken piece of crap. Ann Degolian, Principal from St Simons Beach Rentals will not clarify (despite multiple requests) why she sent a cheap copy instead of what I ordered, instead simply saying they will not refund my money. I have their fraudulent eBay advertisement and will pursue this through to the end as a matter of principle. In the meantime, I don't want any other victims to get scammed by Ann Degolian and St Simon Beach Rentals.
