I underwent a breast surgery at this clinic. The surgery left me with severed pectoralis muscles (unfixable) and deformities (synmastia, bottoming out, skin and tissues detached from the sternal bone). The breasts were significantly different in volume (440ccs and 600+ccs, per digital breast imaging technology), and the scars were huge (5.5cms and 6cms). When removed, the left implant was 425ccs silicone, the right was a large saline implant. I had constant pain and discomfort following the surgery (chest muscle pain, nerve pain, back pain, headaches, implants pulling down on the bottom of the breast, implants crossing over to the other side of the chest, inability to sleep) but I could not get an appointment before the scheduled appointment which was weeks away. The surgeon produced fraudulent medical records. He refused to help me on the grounds that I am just an unhappy person who cannot be made happy. I have spent over 35K trying to get help for my pain and severed muscles, but am not better. Dr. Nick Carr denied any wrongdoing. The Operative Report shows the muscles are intact and that he improved my symmetry, and the implants were both 425ccs silicone. The bad reviews are being deleted from the rate mds website, so beware!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I 100% agree! He is not there for his patience, has an ego that doesn't match the skill and botched my breasts and hips then body shamed me with printed pictures of my before body from 6 months before the surgery *I lost 30lbs after that and before the surgery but he wanted credit for making me more attractive because he hacked my skin off and managed to deform my hips with dog earing* if you offend his ego, you get shamed alone in a room with only your gown on until you agree to remove your review and then when you don't, he refuses you as a client even though you paid more than most would ask for for mediocre results and bad care! I'm so sorry he did that to you. I'm reporting him to the college board of physicians and surgeons. I hope you do the same!
I too am very shocked to read such a negative review towards Dr. Carr. In 2010, I had a Vertical Mastopexy & Augmentation surgery performed by Dr. Carr on both my breasts . This surgery was so incredibly life changing to me that I remember my surgery as if it happened yesterday.
I am so happy with my breasts.He did a fantastic Job! 8 years later and my breasts still look amazing! My quality of life and self esteem have improved significantly since my surgery. I found Dr. Carr extremely professional as well as his staff. When i was post surgery I had a minor concern and when i called concerned they bumped my appointment to an earlier day and time.
After my surgery I received a wallet size card with detailed description of size, make & model number of each breast implant that I still carry in my wallet to this very day. I also have a copy of The Canadian Device Registration form which includes how many "CC" as well as make & model of each breast implant along with that i also have detailed skinworks receipt as well.
Anyone seriously considering having breast lift and/or breast augmentaion surgery I would Highly Recommend Dr. Nick Carr!
I'm shocked by the negativity towards Dr.Carr! one year ago I had a full abdominoplasty from dr.Carr and have nothing but wonderful things to say about him! My friend also had an abdominoplasty- and a breast lift both done by dr. Carr. we are both ecstatic with the results. I have difficulty believing that his clinic has won awards year after year because he's "bad" at his job... Dr. Nick Carr is a wonderful surgeon, with a caring, patient demeanor. I plan to have my breasts done in the near future and I will most certainly be asking Dr.Carr to perform the surgery.
Hi: I live in chilliwack and am leery of surgeons in BC because I doubt they do body lifts on any scale to be experienced with them...what have you heard about other surgeons besides skinworks?
