Shoe Palace reviews and complaints
easy spirit shoe traveltime
I purchased a pair of Easy Spirit shoes at the Shoe Palace in the Festival Flea Market in Pompano Beach, Fl. 33073. I have had them less than a year and the sole ripped off the bottom completely. I think that these are not made by Easy Spirit but are fake. Please advise me what to do. I would like a complete refund. I paid $52.99. refused my same-day refund with receipt
On Dec 18th I shopped at this particular store at the mainplace mall to purchase shoes for my daughter. She found what she was looking for and the shoe happened to be on sale (so I thought) because of her shoe size they did not have her size in ladies, but did in men's. To my surprise the men's shoe was not on sale (same exact shoe) I was bothered by that but I went ahead with the purchase not even knowing about their return policy. While still in the mall, my daughter and I entered another shoe store (shiek) they had the exact same shoe for even cheaper then the sale price on the ladies shoe in the previous store. I purchased those to save money due to being on a budget for Christmas. I returned to shoe palace to get a refund on my purchase and the sales person (Frank) informed me that it would only be for store credit or exchange. I was appalled, I've worked in retail most of my life (I'm 48) and never had I heard such a thing especially with the receipt and same day purchase. Not only was Frank rude and nasty to me but he stood in the doorway of the store and laughed at my frustration as I was contacting the corporate office (at which time I spoke with a Brittney) who claimed she couldn't help me. She said she would put in a claim of my dispute and someone would contact me within 48hours. I'm actually still waiting for that call, but on the second day after my visit to the store I contacted corporate again...no answer. I also emailed the company twice...never got a response.
I understand that it may be an inconvenience for retailers to offer refunds, but its more of any inconvenience for buyers who are on a tight budget and needed to save where they can. Obviously shoe palace needed the 150.00 more then I did, its a shame that companies can only stay in business by stealing your money and not offering customers the right satisfaction of their product. I WILL NEVER EVER SHOP AT SHOE PALACE AGAIN, nor will my family n friends. Just a heads up to everyone, make sure you know the return policy before purchasing. I was never even handed my receipt and the return policy was not even posted in view, nor was it even mentioned.

Stay away from these guys. I accidentally placed an order clicked on wrong size. Called customer care immediately still they took $15 cancellation charges. Stay away from these guys! Spread the word to other innocent shoppers
Sorry. I also meant to say to check your States law about return policies
The California law requires that their return policy be posted at each register or the entrance of the store. Its not enough to just be posted on the receipt. I would file a compliant with your states attorney generals office.
