I activated my card today after getting it in the mail about a month ago. It was supposed to be my "last resort" credit card to be used in an emergency. Well, the emergency came and I needed to pay a bill I cannot pay. I was very surprised that they deducted so much money from my credit line. I was supposed to have a $300 credit line and now have only $218. I already paid a fee to them. Now they want ANOTHER fee plus a payment of $45 without even using the card This seems illegal to me. I want to cancel the card and I want a full refund of my money. I am better off saving this $300 in an emergency account than using this horrible credit card.

It has become very obvious that companies like this are utilizing schemes that border on legality. In many cases just making up rules as they go. Yes I understand that any company runs a risk to allow credit; however, with the massive fees these companies are hauling in a load of money.

In my case, I have seven credit cards. Each of them with exceptional payment history. This going all the way back 3 years. Revvi is the sixth card that I got.

When I make payments on my cards I make multiple payments every month no exception.

Here's an example of what can go wrong. I had been making payments every week with this company. I utilized the card for bigger purchases.

My account was connected to a bank and debit card (Sable). In a blink of an eye I was informed by sable that they were"sunsetting".. meaning they are closing their doors. Of course this comes to a shock. However they did give us until June 22nd to clear out all of our money and have it transferred etc. Well, I had my sable debit card connected to Revi. I had already set up a payment utilizing debit for a particular date for $175. It's so happened that this was the exact date that I was informed that sable was no longer staying open. Apparently sable had disabled the debit card so the $175 was declined. Keep in mind that I had never missed a payment and also making multiple payments in a month. I happen to catch this right away and sent another payment for a smaller amount utilizing the ACH which was still active until June 22nd. This has cleared approximately 8 days ago. However, Revvi decides to go ahead and put a hold on the card. And what is the reason? Because there was a declined payment. It doesn't matter if you made five or six payments in a month and have been doing a consistently. They're so focus is on that one declined payment. I find this to be truly outrageous. I made a phone call and said that if I wanted to speed up the process I could fax them a copy of my statement showing that it has been processed. I asked the customer service rep if she was able to see that it has cleared being eight days. All she did was completely going circles as if she was reading a piece of paper. I then informed her that I will then go ahead and make the entire payoff of the account in the next two weeks and will be calling them once that payment has gone through and closing the account. This takes care of that problem.

Sounds like somebody just ranting but I can tell you that I've gotten to the point where I'm just sick of this type of service and this is the very reason why FinTech companies and these type of companies will not be in existence in the next 7 to 8 years. You can't operate like this and expect it to be okay

This company is a scam , I did their application to which I was approved for , I had to pay the $89.00 fee. Mind you they deducted the fee twice from my DEBIT card . Then when I called and advised them they refunded 1 fee and CLOSED my account ! After several calls my second fee of $89.00 was kept and card account was not opened ! SCAMMERS!

I felt the same way to; when I pay the program fee and the amount was deducted. I wish I never gotten this card. I agree with you, seems like a rip off. the company is taken advantage of us trying to rebuild credit.
