Unethical behaviour
Avoid Lillicrap Chilcott like the plague - unless you like being gazumped and deceived!
Unfortunately, we were recently gazumped by LC and seller on a beautiful St Ives property. All parties had amicably agreed the sale/purchase two months earlier, and we were on the brink of exchanging contracts, when LC Director, Dominic Skerry, called to inform me that we were being gazumped - unless we wanted to raise our offer by £25, 000 to "stay in the game".
Even our Cornish solicitors said, if this is how they do business we'll never work with them again.
I expect LC to issue a feeble defence, as they have done with previous criticism I've seen online, but my statement is 100% true and accurate and I have the proof to back it up.

Money-grabbing crooks
Mr Lillicrap and Mr Chillcot own and run this company and they have a terrible reputation - i just wish i had known this before i had dealings with them.
