Allied Universal Security Employee theft

Last month, an Allied Security Guard stole my wallet at an Amazon facility where I work. Their area managers have yet to provide me with a response, and the onsite supervisor is hoping I sweep thus incident under the rug. In fact, they won't disclose any video evidence with the police department. What kind of security company does that?

I have made numerous requests for their company to be transparent with this issue. However, in spite of compelling evidence, they have not communicated with me. Frankly, a person working at any property, shouldn't have to worry about their hired security guards committing crimes against them. It appears, Allied Universal tolerates it.

Country of complaint: United States

Address: Burlingame

Desired outcome: Acknowledgement of culpability, a written apology from Allied Universal and compensation for my loss.

On the fourth of April, I had a meeting with the manager of Allied Universal, Michael Siciliano. The purpose of the meeting was to resolve a problem stemming from an incident on March 24th. According to Mr. Siciliano, A complaint was made against me by the Vice President. I was never informed of the complaint until I had a meeting with Mr. Siciliano yesterday. When I reported to work on the 28th, I was told by the Supervisor that I was removed from the schedule because I had fallen asleep at my post. Mr. Siciliano informed me that a vice president had made a complaint against me. He said that he attempted to call me and email me after the incident to inform me. I never received a call or an email about the Incident. Additionally, Mr. Siciliano had the incorrect date of the incident. I attempted to tell him that I was sick that day, with a migraine headache and took medication to try to relieve the problem. He wasn't receptive to my explanation.

I continued to work that week without incident. I only discovered what had occurred on the following Monday when I reported to work and found that I was removed from the schedule. Usually, when an incident like that happens, the manager would discuss the incident with the worker to get an explanation of why it happened. Other workers had been caught in the past with no interruption of service. I have been with Allied since 2019 and have been with Pace for 6 years. Not once did I ever fall asleep on duty.

Country of complaint: United States

Address: 229 West 38th st. NY NY 10018

Desired outcome: I would like to be reinstated at Pace on the same schedule I have been working.
